I’m a frequent morning customer and live nearby. Parkside makes excellent made-to-order sandwiches and heros. My fav is the turkey breast with cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard. When family visited at the end of May I ordered a large three bean salad - it was especially delicious with fresh lime and cilantro. Convenient for westbound traffic on Ashford Ave. with 5 parking bays alongside the road.

Update Feb 2, 2024. Gray day outside; Punxatawny Phil doesn’t have a hope of seeing his shadow! But here you can start your day on a bright and cheery note no matter the weather. Maddi and his staff make a super breakfast served with a genuine smile 😀😀 Update March 18, 2034. Cold winds but warm sun on the bench out front. Update Sept. 19, 2023. Enjoying a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and coffee. Reasonably priced at $4.50. Manager always greets me first before taking my order details. Sunny bench in front is a super spot. This is a green business; manager delivers orders himself...

I am a Bronx native, traveling from Florida back to NY for an event. I always stay with my friend, who lives in walking distance to this place. Holey moley I love this place and could never wish something so amazing a 1/2 block away. Breakfast served fast, and hot. Boars Head cold cuts at cheaper prices than S. FL 🙀 Prepared food available at some point in the day and it was delish. They somehow fit an amazing amount of useful household goods and food within this tiny store. Well...

Just had the pleasure of having the Italian cowboy wedge made by Mike nasti himself. These guys are like the mad scientists of sandwich making. Fresh made chicken cutlets provolone cheese pepperoni on a toasted hero bread with a spicy Chipotle mayo. Outstanding ! My only problem was I ate it so fast I didn't even take pictures so be sure to check back and I'll post some soon. Going to have to go back and try the OMG sandwich challenge. A three pound sandwich in under 10...
