Dobbs Diner — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

A traditional American diner. After flying all day with little to eat, we were headed to a nearby hotel and realized there would be nowhere to eat if we checked in to our hotel first. Dobbs Diner had been recommended to us by locals, and although it was closing in less than thirty minutes from when we called, and they had already cleaned the kitchen, they agreed to have two medium rare cheeseburgers ready for us to pick up in 15 minutes. The burgers were generously sized and delicious, with really fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and great dill pickles. The proprietor was friendly and thanked me for our business. Ok so check it out. I was there, and I ordered one of the hardest things to make right, from my experience, a Philly cheese steak. Before i dive into the food, I want to say that the staff were amazing. The environment is very clean and certainly a great spot to enjoy your time. Now on to the food. The bread was too soft, not my preference. They put mozzarella cheese, and it was too overpowering. It dominated the steak. The peppers were nonexistent. The fries were good, very good. Dobbs Diner is always a an excellent, little local spot. It's filled with great people, who If you go more than twice will remember your name, and always provide the best quality service. At Dobbs you're right at home and Mom's cooking all your childhood favorites. Service is speedy but you're not going to be in any rush to get out of the cozy atmosphere! I had the Dobbs deluxe which consisted of two pancakes, 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon and 2 generous sausage links. All of it was delicious! Dobbs has great prices and is a staple for me and my girlfriend to go to everytime I pick her up from college.
