I have never left a review before but after receiving very disappointing service I felt the need to leave one.I came here for a birthday dinner and while the food was good the service was not. Our waiter was condescending and not welcoming at all. My guest ordered gluten free pasta because she is vegan and that pasta does not include eggs. She told our server she was vegan and wanted plain gluten free pasta with no cheese. He was very abrupt while she was ordering and of course didn’t listen and brought out pasta with cheese. He then tried to tell her that wasn't cheese but brought it back to the chef to double check. He finally brought back the correct dish. My guest was eating her pasta and some bread then the server came over to us and said “I thought if you were gluten free you don’t eat bread”. Like excuse me?! What server would think that was professional to say to a customer. My friend politely explained to him that she was vegan not gluten free that is why she is eating the bread. If he has listened to her order correctly the first time he would have known that. He was not personable at all and came off rude. At the end of our meal we realized we didn't even receive our house salads that were included with our meal however, all of the other tables did. Bad service I will definitely not be...
Read moreThis was a nice and calm experience. We arrived during the evening around 6 pm. As soon as we neared the area it felt like a charming place. It had a nicely lit patio with live music and a few tables full of guest. We choose to sit inside where it was quiet and spacious. We were quickly attended with bread and water. The butter was cold and a bit difficult to spread on the bread and the ravioli was a bit hard but nothing too serious. Aside from that I ordered a chocolate martini. The service was really friendly and didn’t need to be asked for the specials. Our server quickly brought us the chalk board. I did ask about the drinks since I was curious about the chocolate martini. Thought he had only a few drinks he wasn’t too sure what was in it. He wasn’t afraid to make something up to pull out and answer and quickly found someone who would know. They gave me a full list of what it contains straight off his head(I assume he was the bartender lol) and I was sold. Taste wise the chocolate wasn’t too strong so you can still taste the liquor so overall sweetness was a 3/5. There was chocolate syrup at the end but it was merely a finger tips worth. Overall this was a good and comfortable experience for any locals looking for...
Read moreI don't know where to begin. Maybe it was the oil stained tablecloth that was bad for starters along with wrinkled, dingy and stained paper menus? Maybe the giant, gaudy chalkboard that was slapped down at our table to tell us today's specials? Maybe the undercooked eggplant? The owner clearly breathing down the waiters' backs? The overwhelming count of waiters? The tyrant death stares he'd give them all with awkwardness and tension in there so thick you can cut it with a knife? The salty chicken francese? The cold mozzarella in my hot dish? The pasta far from al dente? The overflow of halfway melted butter in my pasta sauce? The nearly stale bread that tasted like something they might have purchased at a grocery store the night before opening? Or maybe it was even the recycled XYZ Company pen used for signing receipts? Whatever it was that made the place what it was, I'm sure that the owner would do the right thing by taking these notes into consideration when making changes to the restaurant to improve the quality of attention to detail so that the customer feels they have an optimal experience when dining in their...
