I’m not sure where they understand food intolerance or directions for that matter. I ordered a chicken shwarma which is a pretty simple dish. It consists of cutting the chicken off a skew and putting it in bread with the toppings of your choice. I specifically told the gentleman to add nothing more than hummus and tahini. For whatever reasons it took about 10 mins or so for him to bring me the dish with no one in the store. As I’m waiting he asks me if I would like it refried in onions and peppers. I specifically said that I have food poisoning intolerance issues and therefore I can’t have that. Upon eating I notice that there was a brown sauce dripping from my sandwhich. I thought nothing of it until it became increasingly more spicy. The first thing that came to mind is that I’m going to be in big trouble if this guy put anything more then what I asked for and I believe that he did. Now the end result for me is a night of excruciating pain and difficulty because they did not follow a simple request. I would not eat here if you have any food sensitivity’s because they do not...
Read moreThe place doesn’t look like much when you walk in, but you know the saying, never judge a book by the cover. When you order from Talim and you speak to the owner or main chef, you can tell he is passionate about his food.

We had a conversation on how it took him 3 hours to prepare the tiki masala sauce for his dish or how long it took him to prepare the Tamarind juice. Hours and hours . I told him never change that, that is why people frequent this place.
We ordered a regular falafel, spicy falafel, chicken samosa , fresh tamarind juice and chicken tiki masala to go.
Well… I am so glad I ordered those items because they were by far the best I’ve had in 20 years.
With pop up falafel chains coming to the area and restaurants cutting corners, it’s really refreshing to see a place that takes pride in fresh delicious food!

I was saddened to learn that the partner who made all the sandwiches has left the business. Not sure when or why, but I definitely missed his preparation of my previously loved falafel.
I am addicted to their falafels!!! Seriously, I've had them 3 times this week. They have a great mix of Middle Eastern Food and Indian Street Food. We've had the Chana Masala, potato samosa, skirt steak platter served with Isreali Salad and pita, and their home made Hummus and chips. All were delicious. Portion sizes are generous and for 7.52 the pita wraps are a steal! Small counter space, and 3 or 4 tables for eat in with some tables for outside dining when weather permits. Highly recommend you...
