Hard to find if you don't know Hastings as it is up an alley right after a their window display on Warburton.
The waffle itself was tasty. The "Plain" regular full size waffle came with a choice of maple syrup or locally sourced honey. I had mine with maple syrup. Again it was all the menu says it is....crisp yet fluffy and airy. $5.50 was a little pricey for me, and if you want anymore toppings there is a $0.50 charge for each.
I will go back and try a savory version for lunch as it seems more substantial. However, for the plain w/o the toppings I would skip it.

Seeing all those waffle combinations was killing me, as carbs are most times off limits. I instead had the kale, millet, snap pea salad, with some kind of delicious tangy, yet light, dressing.
