On a recent road trip I stopped in Hudson for a night but the best experience was discovered on my drive home. Purely by chance I passed this odd restaurant tucked back along the tracks. It looked like an old station house and something tugged at me so I made a U turn and headed straight back to the best bagel sandwich I have had in years!!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I ordered a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon to go thinking I would just eat it in the car and leave. It was amazing!! Finally a real honest to goodness old school NY bagel!!! The kind you could only find in the city in the old days. It triggered so many good memories like only great food can!! I ran back in, ordered a dozen to go and only wish they delivered to Boston. I might have to make the three hour drive just to get more! I hope you love their bagels as much as I do....

I stumbled upon Hudson Bagels completely by chance while driving through Hudson and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the smell of fresh bagels and coffee pulled me in like a magnet.

The food was incredible — the bagels are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just how a bagel should be. It was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell everything is made fresh with care.

What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. You don’t always get that kind of positive energy, and it made the whole vibe even better. Shout out to Johnny and Joe! Great people.
