We order Chinese at work most weeks; and there are a few to choose from in our area. Our initial choice was East Wok, a thoroughly normal strip mall entry. We then moved on to Fortune Wok, and most seemed pleased, however they had several poor ratings for some of the normal staples. Our last entry was Beijing House. I was looking for some replacement menu items, and unfortunately, both items I ordered today were just not good. The Shrimp fried rice was not "shrimp fried rice" it was pork fried rice, with some shrimp and cut onions thrown in. Terrible! The other staple was going to be Crab Rangoon, but it was un-available so Fried Wantons were ordered instead. As a side note, I tried to order Steamed dumplings, but said steamed wantons instead, confusing them. My fault. Anyhow the wantons were fried to a crispy nothingness. almost uneatable. The food was made within 10 minutes, but it was just not good. The only positive was that both orders cost more than at the other places...OH, yeah, that's a...
Read moreI have been going here since they opened about two decades ago. The people are very friendly and the food is outstanding. Everything has high flavor and you can really taste all the ingredients in every dish. My favorite is the General Tso's Chicken; the sauce they use is incredible. I've eaten this dish at probably a hundred establishments across the country and this place by far has the best sauce for General Tso's Chicken. Their egg rolls are substantial in size and they have a good amount of filling with decent portions of the main ingredient; not just all cabbage. The pork fried rice, chicken with broccoli, kung pow chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and ribs are all fantastic. I have never ordered anything that...
Read moreNever has Chinese food made me feel as nauseated as this stuff has. We ordered via Grubhub and what we got was less than satisfactory. I ordered garlic and chicken and she had ordered chicken and broccoli. We got two orders of chicken with broccoli and one wasn't even the size we had order and paid for. The crab raguens tasted off and made my stomach upset and when she tried some she immediately felt the same way. The dumplings were meh and the pork fried rice came with chicken and the rice looked as though it had been fried with old oil. I wouldn't recommend this place for delivery, maybe it might a different experience if you ate at...
