Lower Lake Brewery — Restaurant in Town of Hamilton

I hate to be the person to leave a bad review.... The drinks were great, the apps were good. The conversation with the tenders were good as well an overall good night... But apparently after we paid and left the problems started. My hubby closed out the tab and was not handed over the machine and instead was asked what prompt selection for the tip he would he like to leave. He then chose the middle which is 20%. Then was asked if he wanted a copy of his receipt. In which he said no thank you and we said thank you and left. Don't think that's the problem but someone took it upon themselves to look up my hubby's work email and send him a copy of his receipt to his employer... So I come bearing questions ⁉️ For what sole purpose did his employer need a copy (or tab) as to where one of their employees chose to spend their hard working money. (because at no point did we ever nor did he hand them over a business card or anything that had his work email besides someone googling it). So to any person wanting to come to this establishment I warn you to bring cash to make sure they don't send your receipt to your employers. God forbid we were doing something bad... That needed to be reported to his employer... Again we were asked if we wanted a receipt and we said no thank you. I didn't know that no thank you ment no worries will still send you a copy to your employer. #Noted.. P.S Or in fact did you send that to his employer to get...

Have had the great pleasure of visiting the tap room twice. Service is remarkable, with a clear interest in satisfying the customer’s experience. The beer is extremely well crafted. Love Lower Lake Brewery. Drove up from Westchester with the family and worth the drive. Unique and well thought out tap room in a beautiful town. The beers were all delicious. In a market overrun by IPAs it's nice to visit a brewery that offers crisp and foamy pilsners and lagers. I will 100% make the drive again to visit. Mark the owner was there which was fun to meet the man...
