Arby's — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Ok... I don't usually do fast food-- because of its valueless nutrition and the way it "enhances" my waist😳 ... Yet there are times I need to indulge! It's been YEARS since I've consumed anything from Arby's-- but my beloved coworker convinced me to come along for the "curly fries."

Mmm... Mmm-- Mmm!!! Seasoned to perfection and the chicken tenders were brilliant. Yeah-- I know; I'm singing the praises of a fast food joint-- but credit is given where credit is due.

{The one and only drawback was the lunchtime crowd had to deal with the sole register being run by a sweet kid who kept apologizing that it was his "first day." But we've all been victim to the "First Day Blues" at some point in our lives. Yet a little encouragement from the Girlz in my crew-- along with the delicious eats...

Mischarged/overcharged me twice in the ~10 times I went to the drive through. One time they charged me twice for my order and another charged me for a milkshake when I got a regular fountain drink. Both cases were seemingly them not taking my drink order at the speaker when I know for a fact I said my order correctly. I complained about this online (the form that the owner keeps linking to bad reviews) and got no response.

Drive through is also absurdly slow and a single car in front of you usually means a 5+ minute wait.

Food is what one would expect from an Arby's, so not great but reasonable for a fast food place most of the time.

First visit. Was okay. It’s a little expensive. The floor was sticky, which maybe it was supposed to be (some restaurants have that). All the potato products were good- curly fries, crinkle fries, potato cakes. The roast beef sandwich, without cheese, was not delicious. That was disappointing, since it is an Arby’s trademark. The bun tasted stale, even though it was toasted. The serve yourself sauce, didn’t help. Probably shouldn’t have added. The best part was the barbecue sauce for the nuggets. Used it on the sandwich. I made some mistakes while ordering, and the counter staff was very accommodating to make the changes requested. All staff was very friendly and polite.
