So this park is very big. It is good if you keep you are more than one child in the same section or at least on the same side because there is an opening as you're facing the park there is an opening 2 the back left where anybody from any other part of the park can enter or and or pick your child. So warning do not let them run freely. Also they need to do some work on the machine that has been not working for years now and is dangerous if a child goes on it which is the one facing the parking lot it's a silver round machine do not let your children go on it as they will try to turn it I pick it up somehow from the sides and they can hurt themselves. However to the left of the park is for bigger kids where there are no signs indicating that little ones cannot go so there's openings where they can fall just a little warning. Other than that it's a very nice park in my own opinion but needs just a little work because there has been no updating for seven years now that I have been calling you there. I have not been going there all the time I jump from sections of Eisenhower Park. For...
Read moreToday was a great day, a lot of people were out picnicking, walking, jogging, and some barbecuing. For me, I went for a walk. I entered the park from park boulevard. I walked 1.3 miles today. Eisenhower park is huge. It has multiple playgrounds, a mini-golf course, and picnic areas. It a place for all ages. It was great the see the elderly walking, riding, and just chilling. Couples of all ages, some with children and others, were walking, picnicking, and a few were barbecuing. I noticed that there were several barbecue grills, but they were not well maintained. There was signage for the prohibition of motorized two-wheeled vehicles. Also, the public restrooms were not marked. Overall, still, a great place to visit...
Read moreI love Eisenhower Park, my boys and I come a few times a week to bike, run and play on the playgrounds. There are a few playgrounds to choose from which is great. The only downfall is the upkeep with the playgrounds. The handicap playground in the middle of the park has been abandoned. The grass is now dirt and slippery for running children. The rubber padding is falling apart in the original playground closest to Hempstead Turnpike. I wish they would take the time to make the appropriate upgrades to keep the...
