ATL Wing Spot — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Haven't been to this spot in almost a year because the last time I ordered, my wings were ice cold when I got home only 10 minutes after picking them up. I could've called and complained. I know Wally or Big H would've corrected it fast with no hesitation as they've done before, so I just let it go. So today, I saw they have new flavors since I've been there & I called in an order. I specifically ordered lemon pepper wet wings, which is a new flavor to me. She repeated it back & said lemon pepper wet & I confirmed yes. Sadly, got all the way home & got lemon pepper rub. It's even on my receipt as rub. But the dissatisfaction is with the "jumbo" tenders. The quality has gone down. They were NOT fresh, hand floured as normal nor jumbo. Breading was hard & crunchy like the frozen, store bought kind. Couldn't finish them. The size?? Horrible. 2 of them weren't that much bigger than the size of the sauce cup. Again, could've called & complained. I know Wally would take care of it. But sometimes it's not worth the trouble. Consistency is key. This is about the 4th time my order has been messed up. I do recommend the bone in wings, which were good! But not the tenders. Nor the sweet potato fries which some weren't cooked all the way. Wally, if you see this, I know you'd handle it, but instead, talk to your crew. I would hate to see this spot lose business, etc. Y'all are...

The new Spanish lady they hired is really BAD. Like REALLY bad. Please fire her. She upcharged my order - I saw and Im pretty sure she charged me wrong on the register when I went to pickup my food. First off, she didn't even understand what I was ordering the first time and didnt find the lemon pepper hot honey and tried to give me honey sriracha sauce?? Like, I didn't ask for that. She doesnt seem to know what she's doing tbh. This is the first time I have had a bad experience here. Wally, Faiza, and Big H never do that to me. In fact, if I go into the store and pick up a platter, Wally, Faiza, or Big H just ask me if I want any extra sauces for free (like the white or chipotle sauce). They also remind me of the sauces during my order. The lady didn't even offer me blue cheese or ranch as an option during my tenders and just wanted me to get on with my order. I'm so disappointed. Luckily, I have my white sauce, but sadly it won't hit the same with the tenders. Also, I wish the lady told me the price of everything I ordered when I called, so I could have known about the uncharge before hand without being surprised. Also, she completely wrote my name as something else when I went to pick up my order?? Like who is Hessi? Very disappointed this time around with the service. I hope the food tastes good. I was craving a chicken sandwich today and came across this place that was getting all the hype from influencers and had to see it for myself. Attempted to order through the website but it was only directing me to the other locations which are much further so I had to switch to Uber Eats pickup. Working in the restaurant industry i understand the fees in ordering from Uber/doordash instead of the stores website but for the sandwich to be listed at $9 on uber when it’s $6 on the website is insane. I was still craving the food so I went and ordered 2 sandwiches and waffle fries. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when the sandwiches turned out to be just tenders on a bun. A chicken sandwich is a chicken breast and not with tenders, the “Hawaiian” sauce that came with them just tasted bland and to make it worse the chicken was essentially all breading anyways, it tasted like something they’d serve you at lunch in high school . The waffles fries were your typical waffle fries, frozen in a bag and then dropped in a fryer with no seasonings but for the amount you get for the price you pay it’s decent enough.
