First time here. Amazing experience! I'm so glad my normal place was too busy and I walked in a bit too late. SAKURA was open until 8p, which I need with 2 lil ones at home and a husband that doesn't get home until 7p. It was beautiful, so clean, and I had the place to myself! They were so nice. I was handed a gift bag with a lotion, coupons for future visits, and a bottle of water as I sat down. I had the place to myself-such a treat! And the best part was they played soothing piano music rather than the news or an annoying talk show like my other place. It was so relaxing. Even though I finished after 8, I didn't feel rushed at all! They kept encouraging me to stay to dry a bit more. You can tell they are not cheap with the details either. Plus they have air ventilation st each pedi and mani spit so you never have to breath in all those nasty chemicals! New fave spot for sure. I will...
Read moreThe technician was HORRIBLE! I wanted a gel mani and pedi. The technician technique was extremely poor - thick and sloppy. Nails unevenly shaped, no care in the world about her work. I tried to explain to her what I wanted but she kept doing what she wanted to do. The water for the pedi was boiling hot, apparently I shouldn’t complain about that either. I am paying money to get my nails done - not begging you to do them. This girl threw a fit when I tried to tell her that my nails look messy. How do heck do you mess up gel polish? She got up as if she wanted to fight me. I’ve never experienced this in my life. I believe the manager heard us arguing and decided to intervene. The manager had to completely redo my nails. I noticed that they are more pleasant to certain customers. I am having PTSD from my experience with this place. I will not be spending a cent...
Read moreI’ve been going to this place since 2018 every month for pedicures before the pandemic and right after; I’ve been frequenting twice a month before they sold. I recommended this place to so many but with the new ownership, I advise caution with spending your money here. There’s a serious language barrier with only one person able to speak and understand English. They aren’t too friendly at all. The Pedicures have changed; also rushed and a different system from last ownership. Acrylics are horrible and will have multiple nails break within a week. I would love to know where Patrick and his crew transitioned to, in the meantime I will be looking for a new nail salon home. I hope for their sake they start learning the book of business they purchased with the salon; or they will lose many customers...
