Boswell's Deli of Merrick — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

No pun intended this is singlehandedly the best establishment I’ve encountered. I ordered a tuna, fried chicken w/ peppers on a roll (no pun intended). I was surprised to find that they gave 7 additional for free. They even had the courtesy to hand feed it to me. Even my iguana loved the premium cuisine. On my way out they gave me extra food to go and said not to open it until I got home. It turns out that the big had 1 sandwich and 7 bricks, they knew today was chest, tris, and shoulders. The bag was the perfect workout device for a good shoulder and trap workout. La comida era increíble, y el servicio estaba empujando a P. No les digas que volé su baño. That sandwich stimulated my senses harder than five gum, no pun intended. I just received a call from Corando California while writing this exclaiming how good this deli is. There’s an abundance of breaded products that filled my heart even though my parents couldn’t. Even BDB agrees and he’s always right. Upon entering I was greeted in 7 separate languages, it was quite the experience. While eating my 5th sandwich the employees took their break to teach me how to throw a slider and speak fluent Russian, no pun intended. In all I give this a five star review. Wanna Hear a joke? Stopped going here as often because they don't know how to neatly pack away deli meats or cheeses and overall food quality is hit or miss. They always get the order wrong and argue over it. The one time I have someone go in to get the correct order the worker gives an attitude and actually get mad at me for no reason. How does salt pepper mayo with extra bacon egg and cheese equal just ketchup and egg. How does spinach and onion with hot sauce on a sandwich equal lettuce and tomato with honey mustard. If you're going to charge extra for something on a sandwich I'm more than willing to pay but I'd like to actually get what I ordered. What a waste of time. Literally any other deli in the area is worth going to instead of this one. I've worked in retail, food service, and customer service for years upon years and I've never been in a situation where I couldn't have a cordial conversation about an issue or possible miscommunication....

This place has been around merrick forever and has a horrible reputation. It seems as if all the people working there really just hate people and interacting with them, even if you just call in for a sandwitch. As a business owner id be ashamed of my employees for being rude on the phone which is the first contact for all the customers. These people litearlly cant even say thank you after placing your order or have the courtesy to tell you how long it will be or price. Just a “whats your name” and then slam the phone leaving the customer clueless as to if the people taking your order even care or heard you. Its pretty comical actually.
