Busy Bee Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience for others to be aware. A few months ago, I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll from this deli, and something tasted off — but I brushed it off at the time. Unfortunately, just this past Friday, I asked my son to grab me the same sandwich, and shortly after eating it, I became very sick and experienced symptoms consistent with food poisoning. The symptoms started within just a few hours of eating, which was alarming and it ended up messing up my whole weekend — I was completely out of commission.

It’s disappointing and concerning that this happened more than once, especially with the same item. I don’t know if it’s an issue with food handling, storage, or something else, but it’s enough that I won’t be returning. I hope management looks into this seriously for the safety and well-being of...

It's a good place, Busy Bee. I went up there to get something from another place, but they were closed. Busy Bee was only moments from closing. I had to get something for some meals, so I apologetically had them making all types of cold cut orders. I knew in my heart all the cutting machines were cleaned, ready for tomorrow -- but with exceptional grace they politely accommodated my orders without so much as a tired sigh or rolling of the eyes. Top rate customer service... They've got an astonishing amount of stuff in that tiny store. I shop there, now,...

Being going here for a while they charge me extra for what i ask which is fine but they end up not putting what i want on the sandwiches idk if its the guy who takes the order or the cooks error but i called and who ever andwered was soo rude instead of apologizing and excusing himself he said what do u want me to do even answered with sarcasm NOT NICE!! Drove from sufflok to get my regular and this is what i get even my daughter suggested not to go back so nasty Very Dissappointed!! Lost a customer and all the ones...
