Hamza & Madina Halal Food — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The food here is ALWAYS great. But it’s the Staff and Owner this review is for. I work next door in the nursing home, a high stress environment. Today I actually decided to take my lunch break and study a bit at Hamza to get away from the crazy (I never sit down to eat ANYWHERE always in my car, but this store is kept well clean and for that reason I didn’t mind). Long story short, I paid for my food and idiotically sat my wallet down on the counter and grabbed my food (probably bc it was that good and I was hungry) 😩🤦🏽‍♀️. Someone saw it, took it and all hell broke loose. I asked the staff to run the camera for me, the owner was not there at the time but and hour and half later he was there, along with his staff helping me track the person that took it. Thanks to their kindness and patience with me, In a time that I couldn’t think, I took the owners advice to contact the guy myself. I was able to retrieve my wallet with EVERYTHING in it and also pay for school. THANK YOU to the entire staff, for treating your customers with dignity and respect. May your business...

Have three different people that works there the old man that works there I got to be honest he's a professional but they have another man that works there it's a young man about 40 45 years old and a woman those people are nasty man they fighting all the time and the man is just that when he get mad or upset he willfully of food with white sauce or talk all over and he charged people with the same hands where he have his gloves on he cooks the food with you don't change the gloves he just charge you with the same hand and then he keeps cooking with the same glove I witness that myself especially the one in Hempstead these people are nasty I would never buy from them again and I think that the most clean place in Hempstead for somebody to eat halal food is Lomas halal food that's in West Hempstead have the best food clean and the man will give you tomato everything you need really cool man and this place .........I'm telling you don't eat their people in hemza Medina they really cheap don't want to give people salad and giving...

I used to love getting my Halal from here but lately the quality of their customer service has dropped beyond anything I could’ve ever imagine. I’ve had so many uber eats orders messed up by these guys now and every time I put myself through it again and again just to see if they could make things right. Each time I was disappointed but tonight was the last straw. I was gifted an Uber eats order tonight in which I chose a combo platter with hot sauce, extra white and extra bbq sauce and salad with added pita bread (“NO OLIVES, NO BEANS, NO CORN WITH PITA SLICED INTO TINY PIECES”) 6 hot wings, and a plate of fries. The only thing I received that was actually a part of my order was the fries. I received an overstuffed platter with what looked like way too much hot sauce to even taste anything else no pita bread to be found and a full plate of salad on the side which included corn and beans that I didn’t order. When I tried to call the store directly (multiple times) I was sent straight to voicemail each time. Y’all USED...
