Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I bought a cake here for a family member that was having a milestone birthday. The young lady who helped me was very nice and very accommodating.She helped me find the cake I was looking for,And explained how she can make it fresh,because they didn’t have it in the store at the moment.I even told her that the birthday girl loved chocolate crunchies,so when I picked it up,she gave me a little extra! The cake was delicious and the ice cream was very fresh,I recommend highly!Marshmallow chocolate crunch cake...

The ice cream is creamy & good, but the cost of 1 cone is practically &5. Each. I personally think their prices are way overcharged. I don't buy there because of that. Only on a rare occasion but, the cost is the real problem. Its from greed getting more greedy.etc. people will go up and up until someone makes some protest against it. I know NY is high priced, but if other chain stores can sell a plain vanilla cone for. 50 to $1.00 each. Well that's where we'll go while...

Carvel is literally a taste of my childhood. Whenever a birthday or another event arose that "required" a cake, we always got a carvel cake with the famous crunchies. Well to this day, my childhood carvel still exists in the same locale and i enjoy their cakes and other icey treats just as much. And Wednesdays are especially the day to go if you get the urge, because they are 2 for 1 on sundaes.....
