Had a lovely early dinner here the other day. We’ve frequented a few restaurants along the mile but never here. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside along the water. We started with a few drinks, I had the spicy Margarita. It was delicious l, not to spicy just perfect. For appetizers we had the crab cakes (2 on the plate) and chicken quesadilla which was on the appetizers list and came with fries . Both were very good. I’m trying to lose a few pounds so I opted to have a salad. He had the whole snapper (fried) with yellow rice and plantains. His food looked and smelled delicious. Mines not so much. I will say it taste ok but the presentation was poor. I had the house salad with steak. I kinda take some responsibility because the menu did say iceberg lettuce and I’m not really a fan of iceberg. But I ate it anyway. I will definitely suggest that they work on the presentation and also ask how the customer likes the steak. Other then that I enjoyed my experience. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. They offer valet parking right across the street and it is free but I strongly encourage you to tip these guys. Will I ever go back? Sure, but I’m definitely not ordering that salad anymore 😜

Visited on 7/22 , it was a Friday evening. They had west Indian/Caribbean music and a dj. Got to the hostess and she asked if we had reservations... Reservations!!! Their website clearly states no reservations. Anys she said they had a table for 2 inside. Reluctantly, we took the inside seating. The inside felt icky and sticky..... A good wipe down with bleach would help the situation. As previous reviews, the wait staff is slow and not in a rush... We ordered 2 appetizers ... Coconut Shrimp (5 pieces) and some Kung Pao calamari. It was tasty, with the sauces on board. Looks like refried from frozen. We ordered Linguine with Clam & the Broiled seafood platter. The linguine was heavy felt more like a chowder with noodles inside. Would not order again. The broiled seafood was okay but overcooked. This was the first time here and probably be the last time too... Not at all as expected.. The carribean hype needs some revisiting... Need some Rasta pasta or something.... We ended up going to Jeremy's Ale house down the road, to get this seafood craving we were looking for ...

Menu appears to be great….but I’m not sure if the cook, owner, or person who wrote the menu has any culinary background or common sense? Pretzel Bites came out as two whole greasy soft pretzels with mediocre canned cheese sauce to start. Ordered BEER battered fish and chips…simple, classic, easy to make dish that’s a staple to any waterside dining, well they didn’t understand the assignment! Was served an overly fried/over cooked poorly breaded fish(not sure what kind as it didn’t appear to be) Besides having the totally wrong breading/batter, it was extremely over cooked. The chicken tidbits were edible, the fries your basic Restaurant supply mass produced underwhelming starch. Spinach stuffed flounder was the only part of this meal that was decently made. Loud obnoxious music was unavoidable even being seated inside. Pay attention to what you order/want and read the menu.

Today was the 34th Valentine"s day my wife and I have had the wonderful pleasure of spending together. We dont go out often anymore since the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. We have made it a conscious choice to over protect ourselves with being extremely sanitary, social distancing and wearing mask. Mainly because, regardless of our political affiliation we want to remain reasonably healthy and alive. Because it is Valentine's day(lovers holiday) we decided to take a chance and book a reservation at Elliots on the mile. We arrived on time, was seated and I noticed in the bar area no patron wore mask and they were not social distancing....ok maybe thats why NY state was reluctant to open bars in the first place. I get it. All the staff had on mask. But we were seated on the second floor anyhow. I order NY strip steak, mashed potatoes with asparagus, my wife Lamb chops, white rice and broccoli. 2 margaritas. The food took 25 minutes, although the place was about 40% capacity. The seating was set for social distancing. The food was tasty but room temperature. The drink was mediocre. The service SUCK. The waiter was not attentive. Towards the end of our dining experience , i noticed a table diagonally from where we were sitting, where a couple once sat, was only wiped down quickly with a rag and cleared for the next couple to sit. I WAS OUTRAGED...THERE WAS NO SIGN OF ANY SANITIZER OF CLEANING AGENT USED BY THE BUS BOY OR ANYONE ELSE!!! How horrific in these times!!! I wonder was my table cleaned properly before i sat there?? Odds say that it was not. I was so SKEEVED!!! I will NEVER EVER go back to this ELLIOT'S again! This is why this virus continues on because in places like this, there are no or minimal standards for cleaning. ELLIOTS ON THE NAUTICAL MILE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! And...

My husband and I just had dinner and I would have to say $$$ and the food was not worth the price. We had the fillet steak with lobster tail it came with mash potatoes and vegetables, first my husband seltzer water had lip stains around the rim and I mean that should be checked before you serve people then the waiters may not have a good table sort system in place because they brung the next table food over that was next to us, the other waiter had to stop him and apologized. Then we we got the food I would honestly say the only thing that taste good was the fillet the lobster was not seasoned well had no taste at all. The mash potatoes was very buttery and the vegetables tasted like that came out of a bag like the stir fry bag I buy in Costco’s. but seriously it was not good I was disappointed. I spoke with the manager after about the lip stains on the cup because she came around to everyone’s table to say she was the manager and if everything was ok and we were eating so we kinda brush her off and when she walked away my husband says how many places you know that the manger comes over to check on everyone if they are not having a problem there, at the end we spoke with the manager and she said that they just got a new dish washer..and then she ask me what type of cup was it because she said since it was seltzer water the bus boy makes the drinks so then in my head I’m like so my waiter doesn’t check the items before he send it to mu table .. and I’m like really lady in my head. At the end she says she hopes we come back again....I get it that’s her job but we would never go back I would never recommend going there. We drove from the Bronx 45 minutes and it was not worth it. Over price the quality wasn’t worth the food. Not worth...

Today was a very special day for my family and I as we were celebrating my daughter’s baptism. This was my first time at Elliot’s and I tried to give a 3.5 stars but I can’t. The only reason this place is even receiving 3 stars is because Roberto saved this place at the end. If I could rate each person separately, Roberto would receive 5 stars right across the board! First, we were a party of 8 and although we waited for a hour and half to be seated we still got separate tables. This definitely made our party discombobulated!!! Second, the tables were dirty and sticky. I asked two waiters and a waitress on different occasions to get the tables cleaned and of course this request wasn’t honored. Third, if you come here don’t order the scrimp scampi as this dish was very bland. There was two orders of shrimp scampi at our tables and despite telling the waitress (Kim) about it, no follow up was done to ensure we had a pleasant stay. A mean even an apology would of been nice but instead a silence was given (I guess that was the answer to the remark). Roberto came over our table (by the grace of God) and asked if everything was ok and that’s when we told him about the food, with evidenced of nothing eaten much except some of the pasta that was tasted. He apologized, took the plate, and gave us a new dish (yes, we paid for the dish). Oh, and he was the one who served us. Our waitress and waiter was now no where insight. Our water cup sat empty all this time. We ended up given a good tip and thanked Roberto but we will never return! Thank you so much Roberto and all the best with your...
