Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I had 2 bad experiences there.

I went there about 6 mths ago in the AM and the floors were FILTHY, they had a rack with no donuts on it, sitting on the counter, in front of the registers (where I a supposed to pay and receive my coffee). The counters were all dirty and so was the floor behind the counter.. I am talking, donuts and munchkins ON the floor.. Their was 2 young ladies in front of me that looked mortified too.. I said outloud, why is this place a mess?" they didnt respond and ignored me. I said again, "excuse me, why is this place a mess and why is this dirty empty rack sitting here for us to see? Why are the floors like this? where is your boss or any management?" They just shrugged their shoulders and said NOTHING TO ME. I got a coffee and left but was utterly shocked. I didnt even want to get my coffee but I wasnt planning to go home to make coffee and didnt want to hunt down another DD.

2nd bad experience is, you state you're 24 hrs.. well, 5/7/17 you're closed, at 4am.. went back at 5, ok, closed still.. went back at 7 and closed.. HUH? what DD is closes at 7 on a Sunday?

The ONLY reason I gave you 2 stars vs 1 is the coffee is still...

Avoid this place. The manager is either never there, or he /she doesn't care... At least in the morning hours. I've gone back to this place several times hoping that everyone was just having a bad day. Consistently, however, employees disappoint. This last time I visited they charged me $1. 89 for something that was advertised right next to the register on a large sign, as $0.99. I wasn't mad because it wasn't a whole lot of money, but when I confronted the cashier about it, her solution was to roll her eyes and ignore me and move on to the next customer.

This is not the first time something like that has happened. Though I'm not diabetic, a warning is in order: Diabetics beware. On more than one visit I asked for an artificial sweetener and saw them put sugar in my coffee. A couple of times I asked for cream instead of milk. When I saw them put milk in my coffee I confronted them. This solution was to get frustrated with me (usual eye roll) for their own mistake, then huff and puff while pouring a new coffee. There's more, but for the sake of brevity, let's just say dunkin is everywhere, don't give this one...

I stop here every Monday morning 6:45 I am very sweet to whoever waits on me, but there is one server in there that is such a sour puss. It aggravates me like crazy. I get the same thing every week. Munchkins for my grandkids, coffee and 2 donuts. A few of the girls throw a couple of extra Munchkins in the bag but this one goes crazy about that. She yells at the girls no only 3 for 1.00 blah blah blah. A real piece of work. I spend 7 to 8 dollars every week there and she is just not a nice person when it comes to me. They must throw out so many Munchkins at the end of the night so I...
