I placed an order online 2 weeks in advance for flowers (blue hydrangeas, white roses and white baby breath) for DIY Centerpieces for my daughterâs graduation party. It was schedule to be picked up between 8am and 9am the day of the party because I wanted them to look good. I received a message 30 to 60 minutes to pickup time that they did not have the hydrangeas in stock. When I called the store, the florist for stop and shop told me that itâs considered a customized order that they send out to outside venders and that I would need to call the store directly 2 weeks to place the order. When I explained to her that the order was placed online 2 weeks ago by signing in using my membership card and at no point I was prompted to call the store directly. It gave me a confirmation number and email that it was okay. The florist said that it has nothing to do with the store and that the online order is handled by another company, which makes no sense because the order was placed through the stop and shop website with no indication of another party. I had to drive up and down in search of flowers to do the centerpieces. Unacceptable and very disappointing. You would think that someone would have noticed at least a day or 2 before to notify me. Not a few minutes for...
Read moreI live nearby and have shopped in this store for years. It is so disappointing to me to watch it deteriorate. It is my opinion that this store is completely mismanaged. It is also very clear by the reviews and the repetitive robotic responses to them, sadly, that they are not taken seriously by management. I understand that some products are not available due to COVID, but there are so many times that shelves and items are empty and when you ask about it, you are told, yes we have that in the back but it is not "packed out yet". What does that mean? Does it mean they have inventory just sitting in the back wasting away? I have watched as some employees wander aimlessly for long periods of time doing nothing, just walking around and managers just standing around talking, oblivious to that fact, while other employees seem to be hard at work. Or is it easier and safer to ignore a problem? The store looks dirty and run down. I am starting to shop elsewhere now because of this and only shop there when I need something in a pinch, that is if they have it. I sincerely hope that management takes these reviews seriously going forward and starts to work on the issues at hand. A fish starts to stink from the head down, which unfortunately seems apparent...
Read moreThey do not take down old price tags on the shelf and do not honor the price on the tag. This was a sale on 12 packs of sunkist soda and other varieties. Shelf tags said buy 2 get 3 free. After purchasing i realized it didnt seem correct on the receipt. I went to customer service and the woman walked over to the aisle and then a man who worked there who was standing at customer service desk said it was a 3 or 4 day sale? And that these tags showed you regular price too. all i saw was the sale buy 2 get 3 free. No prices on tag. Conviently the tags were removed either by the man or woman at customer service. I thought the man said they were supposed to be there? Why were they removed if i was wrong? This is not the first time this has happened in this store and I have let it go in the past, im sick of it. You should honor the prices on your shelf tags that you do not take down. Instead of trying to make a customer feel like an idiot. Will be calling the store manager and reaching out to...
