Entenmann's Family Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My daughters christening was Sunday and due to our schedules, we didn’t order a cake until Friday. We looked for a local place and Entenmann’s resulted and came through! They were able to do a beautiful buttercream, yellowcake with the lightest lemon mousse. It was SO good. The writing and the flowers were neatly done, they were ready the next day at the time they promised pick up, and they were extremely budget friendly. I told my husband yesterday that going forward we will no longer be getting Carvel ice cream cakes but rather be coming here and trying every flavor filling they have. We had double birthday party where both kids wanted everything to be Pokémon. So we ordered two Pokémon Ball cakes that look the same but different inside. I do not have a photo in my phone right now to share the photo but believe it or not, the cakes looked exactly the way they were on the photo I showed to baker. She did the great job. The taste was amazing as well! One cake was red velvet and another golden / vanilla. Nom nom nom. All guests loved the cakes and asked for location where I got them from. We ordered a chocolate mousse birthday cake for our son at Entenmann’s second year in a row. Although we live about an hour’s drive from the bakery, our guests and we enjoyed their moist and delicious cake so much, that we didn’t mind the distance. They also put an edible image with an image file that I sent them. It’s also very reasonably priced and great quality for the price, considering everything is so expensive nowadays. Even pre inflation I have paid much more for cakes at other bakeries.
