J & J Best Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I called to change my order and instead of trying to accommodate me the lady on the phone just kept dismissing me and shouting at me to call Uber eats. I could not even get a word in without her rushing me off the phone. I tried to talk to her in a civilized manner but instead she just kept cutting me off as if she did not want to deal with my order change. She finally hung up the phone in my face. I was in shock and appalled at the rude service this place has to offer. I never even ordered food from this restaurant and therefore, I could have been a potential customer. So now I’m spreading the word that this restaurant has awful customer service and needs to be more mindful of how to treat customers with respect....

I read about the restaurants on the internet. It seemed like a good place to have lunch. When we arrive there it was only a small storefront take out place. The lady at the register was very rude. I asked if we could sit down at one of the two tables that were at the restaurant. She said yes but she wasn't willing to move the stack of menus and a jar of Vaseline petroleum jelly. She said if we wanted them moved we could move them ourselves. This is not a place that I would consider...

Ordered from J&J countless times and this will be the last. Food quality has taken a complete nosedive. The wonton soup tasted of dirty water, the chicken in the chicken broccoli was chewy and bland, and the sesame chicken - dry, stringy, and tough. I can’t recommend this place.
