Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Very disappointed in just how far down the standards have gone for this location. Ordered a giant sandwich with extra meat and cheese, and bacon. To start with, the bread was dry and absolutely tasteless. The bacon had clearly been cooked hours before, and what little there was of it was unappetizing, caked with congealed fat, and had the consistency of a rubber band. The few slices of tomato were paper thin, and had obviously been sliced long before my sandwich was prepared. There was barely enough lettuce to even recognize. The meats and cheese didn't appear to be anything close to "extra," and both had almost no flavor. My wife ordered a "bowl" version of her sandwich. The photos show an attractively arranged plate with the cold cuts in plump circles, but the actual salad was a mess of stuff just thrown in the container. I don't know if this is standard fare for this location, or I just got unlucky with whoever was preparing the food that day, but we will not be going back there and would be hesitant to try...

First time here and boy does this location need retraining. First of all three workers one person making sandwiches and ringing people at the same time. 30 mins for 2 sandwiches is crazy. The man making the sandwiches is using the gloves for every order ahead of me. Wow! Didn’t notice until after he made mine. Clearly they were ripped and needed to be changed. As he is ringing m, I asked him If should get the chips and drink combo and would be it cheaper than just buying the chips. He told me I can read the board. After paying for my food I suggest he change his gloves after making peoples sandwiches and touching the register. I find that to be so unsanitary. He had an attitude. Looked at me funny and walked away. No sorry. No you're right...nothing. Please watch the security footage. Someone handling food this way doesn't need to work there. Especially no friendly service. His attitude was nasty and not welcoming. I will never go back to this...

I ordered a bowl but all I got was lettuce and tomatoes no meat at uniondale location. 9 hours later and still haven't received my money issued back to my account. Worst place ever. And because it was take out they thought i wouldn't notice until much later. Anyway you took my payment faster than the speed of light but over 9 hrs later still no refund. And the workers knew what they did because as soon as I returned they took the tray back from me and without looking at the order they took it straight from my hand and put it in the garbage. They didn't blink an eye which makes me wonder how many times a day they try this discetful practice. Your employees are garbage. And this shop is on the Hofstra campus.
