Worst customer service ever. My food arrived, burnt and disgusting. The noodles were hard and inedible. Pasta should be so burnt it’s crunchy! I called and talked to a female on 1/4/2023 who would not even give me her name and was told rudely just to call and deal with it through Uber. She told me to not curse and I never did. I wouldn’t mind calling Uber, thats fine and all fine but that is not how you treat/talk to a customer. I have dealt with Manager Marvin there before and never had a problem. I speak with Frank who didn’t even want to get on the phone and then when he did completely screamed at me and told me I wasn’t listening. Very verbally abusive. I have given them hundreds and hundreds of dollars of business a month of money and now due to the situation I would never go into this establishment EVER again and I am going to do everything in my power to make sure East Meadow knows what that restaurant is like. They are nasty people! There’s no reason why that phone call couldn’t of been taken care of properly and professionally. I have worked in customer service, and I own my own business,30 years and I have never treated a customer like that in my entire life. That place needs complete training with customer service. The only person I can say that has been nice and helpful is Marvin. Will tell all of my friends, Facebook friends and East Meadow community not to do business with this place. I am owed an apology. They lost money today! Do yourself a huge favor don’t do business with a place who can’t even deal with a simple issue like Manager Frank and his hostess. It is sad. All that had to be done is make another plate and deliver it. I am so disappointed and disgusted! Why this had to be blown up by them was not necessary.
Do yourself a favor; go to Pietro’s in East Meadow. They are a friendly, family-owned Italian place! Excellent food! Excellent customer service and they care about their customers!! Mama Theresa’s needs an overhaul in their...
Read moreOrdered a penne alavodka with chicken for takeout. When I got home there was no chicken so called them back to let them know. The girl on the phone was courteous and apologized after she looked up my order . She then asked if I wanted a refund or to remake my food. I said the pasta was fine as is I just wanted the chicken that I paid for and couldn’t eat it without it and that I would pick it up again. She calls me back again to tell me I had to bring the entire pasta so I did. When I get there everyone is looking at me and they open the pasta looking to see if I was lying about the chicken not being there. That’s rude right in front of me they do this. I get annoyed and I said I didn’t want a new pasta made in the first place I just wanted the chicken . They all say it’s how we do things here. I say that’s how you treat your customers as liars you don’t believe them. I ask to see the manager and he’s standing there the whole time not apologizing and doesn’t seem to want to deal with me and then tells me basically the same thing. He also says it was an honest mistake. It’s not an honest mistake to treat the customer who’s food they didn’t make right like a liar and have to come all the way back again to get their food right. I’m in the Restaurant business so I know how you manage a Restaurant and how to treat them professionally and how to apologize with sincerity for their obvious mistake . I even told him if he even asked whoever made it if they had forgotten to put the chicken in. He told me no cause they don’t remember cause they get busy. First of all they were not busy, they were all standing around doing nothing . There were hardly any customers at that time and the only pick up order I saw was mine when I picked it up. I don’t mind the mistake but to how I was treated . Instead of apologizing, they made it like I was lying and the manager on duty made it worst not better. I will not be coming back to...
Read more4.3 stars if were being exact! First off would I recommend this place.
YES! Would I come back? Can I get a yessirrrrr.
I did dine in and it was overall a great time. Ordered lunch cesar salad with grilled chicken because you know ya boy is tryna be on the health grind. Then some calamari, and a broccoli rabe pizzetta. Well I was tryna be healthy but you know.....
PROs Food was great! Tasty, fresh, hot, and tasty. The salad had ample grilled chicken which was nice and croutons were crunchy though little lacking quality. I asked for dressing on the side and it was a little hard to mix given the small bowl but that's okay. Calamari was good. Not too salty and seemed fresh and felt like I can eat them for hours on end. Pizzetta was super delicious. The crust of the personal pan pizza is delectable and the toppings of rabe and sausage delicious!
CONs The only thing holding me back from giving it a full 5 stars is the service. The people in the place were nice and friendly. But it would be great if they just were a little more attentive in the beginning. It took a bit for the waitress (she is very nice though) to come and get the order and bring out the bread (yooo that bread be hitting!) There was a man that came in the end that might have been the owner and he seemed very friendly. Overall, the only major thing that can be improved on would be attentiveness. The bathroom floor was also slippery when wet like you be ice skating type of slippery so watch out (it could also be that AF1's don't have the best grip on the bottom). The bathroom was clean though! Clean but slippery.
After a long rousing day at Eisenhower park playing tennis in the warm air of summer's day, you ponder to yourself. "What shall I haveth for my sustenance todayeth". Close your eyes and look east bound to Mama Theresa's because ya...
