Montana Brothers Of Merrick — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Not a review I want to make. This is for their delivery, not eat in. We have been ordering from them for years, going back to before there was a Merrick location. It was generally good, but inconsistent. It's gotten worse and why I'm writing a review. The last time we ordered maybe a 2 months ago , we ordered a Montana's margarita but got their traditional. It was fine and we didn't complain. This time we again ordered the Montana margarita and once again got something else. I'm guessing it was the traditional, but over sauced and way under cooked. The bacon chicken ranch was also severely under cooked, slightly bitter and disappointing. The only pie that was acceptable was a Sicilian that we topped with pepperoni because on the app they do not offer chicken as a topping??? The 3 pies cost me more than $100 and for that price it should be better, much better. I could call and complain, maybe get a free pizza? But it's not worth the time or effort. Just meh for me. It was our first time trying the pizza. I always start with the classic cheese slice. To me it was just typical Long Island Pizza (chewy dough even though we asked for well done) and there was nothing wow about it. It was just OK- I didn’t particularly care for the sauce. But the amount of cheese was just, right. We also ordered the Montana special personal pizza. The concept of flavors was a good mix and it was cooked fine, but there was just too much topping on one pizza. The toppings all fell off once I picked up the slice. Oddly, though, once the pies cooled down to a temperature that I don’t prefer to eat pizza at, (we went for another slice about an hour after dinner) the Montana special slice was very good and it stayed together. I've been to this pizzeria several times, and the food is very good. I recently just went in to pick up a family meal, and I had one of the worst experiences of my life. The manager of the restaurant, Chuck, was extremely rude to me and yelled without any reason. It appeared he was very stressed since the restaurant was busy. Yelling is never called for. The owner was not available, and the other staff came by to apologize and gave me my food on the house which I appreciated. I hope this manager, Chuck, will not be working here anymore.
