New China Express — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Been going here since I was a kid 20 plus years. Was highly disappointed recently when picking up my call in order to see the male counter person take garbage to the dumpster, lift and close the lid then return to pack my food without washing his hands. If I wasn’t parked in the driveway between the restaurant and church I would not have noticed. As the young man was returning from taking out the garbage I entered the front and had clear visual of him returning to the counter. Naturally I rejected the order. I visited this place, and first of all, they only accept cash, which was inconvenient. I ordered chicken wings, pork fried rice, and wings with fries.

The food was terrible. The rice was overly dark, the onions were old and hard, and everything had a strange smell. The chicken seemed like it had been reheated from a previous day – it was soggy, looked unappetizing, and tasted stale. Even the fries were disappointing, tasting old and poorly made, while the wings were outright disgusting.
