Ting Ho Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My cast from NCC's production of And The World Goes Round... had a meal break during rehearsal. We wanted to order some Chinese food for lunch. I called to place an order for delivery and spoke to a less than cordial woman who asked my location. When I said, "1 Education Drive," she asked if that was Hofstra. I told her that it was not and she aggressively replied that, "We don't go there." And proceeded to hang up on me. Despite this place being less than two miles away from NCC.

They just lost out on at least $70 worth of business today and countless $$$ in the future.

My advice: Use Ting Ho Dumpling & Noodle House instead. Amazing food, pleasant and detail oriented service (they never forget a sauce or a substitution), and fast delivery.

Would never recommend this place...

This place went so downhill and it used to be good when I was in highschool. They’re so rude and They act like they’re bothered whenever you ask a question. The one time I wanted something outside of my usual, I ask if it has any peanut product in it due to allergies. The woman on the phone could not tell me and said it’s too busy to ask the chef. I could not order food from somewhere if they can’t even tell me what’s in their food and expect me to order something else if I don’t know. Some places make different variations so I had to know how they make theirs. They can’t even tell me because it’s prepackaged. All Ima say is please do not order from here !!! The lady over the counter is rude beyond words can describe + they overcharge you for food that they give you incorrectly!!! All they can say is we’re sorry and we can just charge the difference…. I had a bad experience the first time but decided to try giving them one more shot but honestly speaking it’s the same experience over and over again and I won’t be spending my money or referring ppl to eat here !!!
