I arrived at dunkin at 7:50 pm. Yes I'm aware the store closes at 8pm but my kid wanted a donut (he's in love with the white frosting filled headlights). We get there and the door is locked and at least 1-2 employees are behind the counter and an employee is standing on the customer side of the counter. I load my very disappointed 5 year old back into the car and we see said employee leave the store with 3 large boxes of what on can only assume are the leftover donuts for the night while I was calling the restaurant to find out why their doors are closed. I was told by the employee who answered "Hello" (no greeting no nothing- I had to ask if I had called the right place I was so confused). But when I asked what the reason for the Doors to be locked 10 minutes before closing, I'm told "we always lock the doors after the baker arrives"...idc when the baker arrives yall are still open til 8...so I asked if they were still open and she says yes drive thru only. I asked if they had any donuts left (knowing what I had just seen) and I'm told "no we throw out our leftovers at the end of the day so all we have right now are munchkins". I made a comment about the employee I had just seen walking out with the boxes "must be the one stuck on trash duty tonight" and they said "I'm sorry" and hung up on me.
Is this a policy? To lock up the doors 10-15 minutes before closing so employees can empty the donut racks before the baker gets there to do...
Read moreWorst experience I've had in a Dunkin in a long time. I started out in the Drive-Thru. After it became obvious that it wasn't going to be moving fast enough for me to get to work on time, I backed up, found a parking spot, and went indoors. Thankfully I was able to do this because no one had yet to pull in behind me. As soon as I got out of the car a much bigger line began to form. I felt sorry for those people. When I got indoors and there were absolutely no customers I thought I hit the jackpot and I then felt really bad for the people in the drive-thru. My lottery winning feeling didn't last long, however, as I quickly realized that while there were about five or six employees working, half of them noticing me as soon as I walked in, not one of them came to take my order. I stood there waiting patiently (on the outside. On the inside I was livid) for 5 minutes before storming out. 5 minutes later I was at another Dunkin' donuts. I walked in, my order was taken promptly, and I was given my drink about 30 seconds later. It's not that hard people. It's customer service. If you can't handle doing it right you shouldn't be in the business. Y'all make far too much money to be giving service this lousy. So, anyone reading this review, and wanting to know of a good Dunkin to go to in the area? Go to the one in Big Flats just off the highway, do not go to the one in Horseheads just off the highway. You...
Read moreFirst let me start out with… I ran a dunkin Donuts for three years and never in my career did I encounter someone with such poor customer service. My partner and I went through their drive through to order two small coffees. One a frozen smores and the latter a cold brew.
The Bonfire S’mores frozen coffee is still being advertised at this location, so I figured if it’s being advertised it must still be being sold. I asked for it politely, and the woman on the intercom was just super nasty when she responded, so I came back with, it’s still being advertised so I’m going to ask for it, if it’s not available you should take it off your menu or put a sticker on the menu board saying it’s no longer available.
Second I asked for a cold brew again she was nasty with her response and again said that they didn’t have any.
I don’t do well when people think it is alright to treat others with disrespect especially when it is your job to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is the second encounter I have had with nasty service at this location and I do not travel this direction often.
I will be going to a higher up with this situation. Since my walk in encounter the first time did nothing.
Do better Dunkin’ America is supposed...
