I always feel sorry for these mom & pop fast food places. I like to give them business. its not hard to serve a good burger & crispy greaseless fries and onion rings. Apparently here its hard⊠Customer service just rude and indignant and not happy! Maybe the guys should go work somewhere where there are no people! Ordered a double burger, Pretty dry tasteless dry burger sloppily made! The guys inside cooking are just slinging burgers. No Love! Special sauce not so special and over seasoned! Kinda tasted weird! Onion Rings ARE DISGUSTING, And so GREASY (scary greasy) !!! i took one bite and threw away the rest. literally the worst onion rings i have ever tasted. The fry OiL tastes like they havenât changed their oil in months, it tastes dirty bad! Bad bad fats straight to the heart! No thanks! Caesar salad NOT a Caesar! Nice garlic Mayonnaise dressing caesar has no mayo ! Lots of leaves were brown. Croutons i fed to squirrels would i ever come back here? For $28 ~ no way! Not even if it was $10. Sorry i guess thats what you get in a very small town with only tourists passing through. Also looked very dirty inside the kitchen! Run. I write what I experience. Like i said, its not hard to make a GOOD BURGER⊠please do your part! I got no love from your food only indigestion!! I hope you start to change the oil because what i tasted today was dirty old oil and onion rings drenched in it! So please get a new fryer that can fry at proper temp and change the oil. As far as the burger ¿¿?? sea salt for a start! You have some work to do! Reading other reviews you have quite a few people saying the same things. So again! Put some work into upgrading your methods and kitchen & menu! Also you may want to apologize to the customer who spent $28 on 1 meal and threw 9/10ths of it away, instead of sassing back! Customer is always right and the owners should be polite! I had a terrible experience today! your comments just made it worse! Oh P.S. I do feel sorry for the small town mom & pop places ~ as its a real struggle to stay afloat these days!! Not at all implying that you are not sophisticated! I usually seek out these âmom & popâ places because they usually serve great food with pride & love!! This place today has none of that! So you are being rude and assuming things that are not. I write the truth of what I experienced, and you slam me back??? Instead fix your food...
Read moreI wasnât impressed but I only ordered a âmilkshakeââŠthough milkshakes make up at least 50% of the entire menu. I donât considerable myself less intelligent than the average human being but I found the entire menu to be incredibly confusing, which made the experience frustrating. I had so many questions. They offer SO many flavors of âfrozen custardâ milkshakesâŠcould I just order a flavorâŠnot as a milkshakeâŠ? There were additional frozen-treat sections to the menu, such as âfrozen custardâ, âLindaâs Ice Creamâ, âBettyâs Ice Creamâ, âHard Ice Creamâ, âSundaesâ. I had SO many questions, so many potential options for crossover labelsâŠ. Then, next to each item was a seemingly random number. Sometimes it would be a number-dash-ânother number. Like, Hot Coffee 6-13. But then another item would have the same number. Or just one of the numbers⊠I am someone who loves a good puzzle. I love a good Escape Room. Mind-Logic-gamesđđ«¶đ»A second interest of mine is marketing. Typically I can easily break down an advertisement or PR platform. But this menu number system angered me (on the inside, just a little). Whatâs more, the menu is located AT the ordering window!? Itâs a pretty hefty menu with lots of words, options, unanswered questions.
Could I get frozen custard from the massive menu of options, not as a milkshake? NO. I could not. So I got a milkshake: half cake batter, half key lime. My child got a peanut butter and jelly milkshake. Neither of us liked our milkshakes.. They just were not what we were expecting. The flavors were weak and not great. The French fries I managed to steal from child were addicting. I thought they were all burnedâŠthey looked as such. Maybe they were. Or maybe thatâs a technique of which I am unaware. I enjoyed them. Child also got a grilled cheese, that looked amazing. Nothing went to waste, including the unexpected tomato in said grilled cheese sandwich (child+vegetable=woohoo). Lots of good seating options. GREAT music was played on a speaker: The Beatles, Simon &...
Read more1st time eating Mama's Boy, and I have to say I'm not impressed at all. I'm do a lot of hiking, I live, travel, and hike out of my minivan. I'm visiting this area to hike the mountains and complete the 35 peaks over 3500'. One of my most favorite things to do after an epic hike is find a local burger joint and have at it. I ordered online for pick up. That went smoothly. I ordered the bacon burger with carmelized onions and fries. LTOP on the side. There were NO pickles. The lettuce had brown edges. It was a very small piece, I think it was half of a piece of roamaine lettuce. The tomato was super thick, too thick for my liking. The onions were thick, small pieces. My drink was a vanilla milk shake, extra thick. The shake I received was bland and melted by the time I got to my destination, which was a 15 min drive from the restaurant. The burger was made of two small smashed patties, which fell apart while eating they were so thin. The bacon was tasty, yet too thick. The hand cut fries were COLD, I had to reheat them to make them kinda come back to life. I think I got the bottom of the French fry bin because all the fries we tiny, small pieces. The fries were not freshly made for my order at all. They were definitely sitting under a warmer for a bit. Yes, I ate the food, no, I didn't bring it back. I have hiked several mtn peaks in a few days, I'm hungry and tired and wasn't going to waste my $26.00 or my time to go back to complain. I worked in food service for years, I have experience cooking this type of food and when I say this wasn't good, I know what I'm talking about. Hopefully, this review will get to the proper people, and something will be done to better their food service. If I ever eat there again, it will...
