China King — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Now I realize you can't set your expectations too high with a take out Chinese food place but I usually go to their competitor in Huntington village SE YUANG They were closed for some reason probably vacation well deserved anyway I ordered steamed vegetable dumplings happy family and an egg roll Pretty standard stuff Let me state it very plainly the food was horrible the people there are lacking in every skill possible probably do to the fact that they speak no English at all which is not acceptable anymore and I paid much more here for the same thing and I threw it all in the garbage. THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS!!! Do yourself a favor avoid this place go to McDonald's or Burger King if you have a craving for Chinese food unless you can go to some place you've been before where you know the food is good the food here is awful. We used to always order from them. Stopped for a while and came back. Something's changed because we ordered food to be delivered at 6:30 PM. They said 45 min. 7:15 pm no food, but we realize things may be busy, so we wait and don't call until 7:35pm. We're told food on its way; delivery guy will be right there. 7:50pm still no food. Call again. Food on its way and yes it will be hot; no problem. 8:08pm food arrives! Hurrah! NO Hurrah! Food is cold. And, we are missing 2 eggrolls. 8:11pm we call again and are asked what do we want them to do about it. We tell them to deliver the missing items as they are part of our dinner. Promised IMMEDIATE delivery. Well, it's now 9:35pm; China King closed 5 minutes ago and you guessed it, NO eggrolls. Ya think we'll ever order from them again. No Way; No How. Use them at your own risk. ...

Absolutely the worst dumplings I have ever tasted in my life. The texture of them itself grossed me it. They were dry and bland and were not given with sauce when delivered to my house. The chicken fried rice tasted stale and the chicken itself looked uncooked and unsatisfying. Not only was the food unpleasing, the service was too. I understand why the delivery took over and hour because there was a snowstorm, but when the delivery man got to my house, he called and asked for me to walk down my driveway and come get the food myself. I do not recommend and I will most definitely not be spending my money...
