The location of Roots is nice as it is fairly busy area during the week. Their business hours are from 8a - 5p daily. The store has a nice open layout that is visible from the front window. When you walk in, there is a setting by the window with two comfy chairs, coffee table and potted plants to that makes you feel like you are "at home." Since it is right by the window, you get natural sun light and that might be the best spot at the store to be in during a nice afternoon or early morning visit. The layout of the dining area consist of three tables on the left side wall that are spaced apart and can seat at least three people each. Adjacent to the tables is the refrigerator that houses all their freshly made juices, and ready to purchase bottles of coconut water, bottled water and other beverages that might be available on any particular day. As you walk further in, you come across the employee counter which kind of reminded me of a bar (well they are a juice bar!). That is where they ring up customers and make beverages / juices fresh per order. In the back is their kitchen and prep area. I had taken a look at the menu online before I visited so I could be better prepared but the plethora of options they offer were quite impressive and made it difficult to choose. The menu choices include (subject to change) coffee, toasts, sandwiches, salads, eggs, smoothies, smoothie bowls, juices and juice shots as well as cleanses for weight management. They even offer meal plans! In cases like this where I visit a new place, I would ask the recommendations of the employees. On the day that I visited, it was not too busy initially. There were two employees near the front who had greeted me. Their names were Ryan and Seth. I later found out that they actually were the ones that managed and ran the place. But they both equally worked diligently from what I saw. Ryan took care of FOH issues it seemed (ringing up, online orders, making juices to name a few) while Seth seemed to manage the kitchen and BOH. Although, I am sure they are capable of managing each aspect of the business equally well. Both Ryan and Seth are very personable and I can tell are the type of people you can trust to recommend something or tell you if something is not going to be a good choice. They seem to have regular customers that came through during my visit. When it came time to order I was still undecided but I knew I wanted something akin to breakfast. Ryan suggested something off menu and it sounded good. It was similar to their breakfast burrito but in a quesadilla style pita that that included egg, turkey bacon, avocado complemented with a side of sofrito hollendaise sauce for dipping. That was an awesome breakfast I had for lunch that time. I wanted to try a smoothie and their Mint Chocolate Chip caught my attention. It consists of banana, mint, almond and cocoa. When I first saw they had açaí bowls, I knew I had to order one. I decided on the Pineapple Bowl (banana, strawberry, blueberry, granola, local honey and bee pollen). The ingredients sounded insanely good and this was a very good bowl choice for me. Some other extra things that were recommended this time by Seth (I of course had to take some stuff to go because there is only so much even I can eat in one sitting) was their Grilled Cheese sandwich and the Tuna Poké toast. The grilled cheese was mozzarella, with caramelizd onions, tomato, roots seasoning, roots oil and pesto. They managed to make a simple thing look and taste amazing. IF anything, this is some nice comfort food when you are undecided. Now the tuna toast was something on another level. By now, everyone knows about avocado toast but the fresh was something I had not seen on toast before. All the menu items actually already arrive in a box or container so packing to go is easy. For their homemade juices, I selected the Vision and Mr Red. Both contain ginger yet each has a unique flavor profile and of course health benefits. Roots is a nice addition to the neighborhood.

You should be ashamed of yourselves. Your worker scott is bad mouthing people who helped him out thru his life. Also badmouthing other establishments in the village. Is this how you create a good environment to serve people in? Google should know how your worker likes tip bad mouth therapists and bakers. He called one woman ' a fake medical doctor' and myself 'a untalented baker' don't go here unless you want your life to be talked about all around huntington now we know what you're doing instead of keeping your workinghours lol

My first time at Roots Smoothie & Juice bar ( 110 New York Ave, Halesite, NY 11743 ) and I had an incredible experience and enjoyed my king slayer smoothie which consists of dragon fruit, beet root, banana and I added vegan vanilla protein and also pineapple to give it some more sweetness. On top of that the two girls working there were such a pleasure to be around

Roots is an absolute gem for anyone craving fresh, flavorful smoothies. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by genuinely friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Their smoothies are top-notch, crafted from high-quality, fresh fruits, and you can taste the difference in every sip. The menu is packed with healthy options to suit all tastes and dietary needs—whether you’re after something packed with greens, a protein boost, or just a delicious, fruity treat.

Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is to eat healthy here! Roots has quickly become my go-to spot for a refreshing, nutritious boost, and I’ll definitely be a frequent customer. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on taste, health, and friendliness, Roots is it!...

I went into Roots today for the first time for a sandwich because I had purchased a Groupon. The guy behind the counter recommended the hummus avocado club so I said I’d try it, and that I’d like to add chicken. No problem. I get my sandwich to go, and when I get home to eat it there’s no chicken :( paid an extra few bucks for something that wasn’t even given to me. The sandwich was delicious, however I think they charged me extra for the “chicken” because they wanted to make up for the loss through Groupon. Will never be going back to...
