âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ 5-Star Review for Tres Amigos in Greenlawn, Long Island â A LEGENDARY Mexican Gem!
If I could give Tres Amigos 10 stars, I wouldâthis place isnât just a restaurant, itâs an experience. As someone who used to work there and has since moved away, I can honestly say I dream about their food daily. There is NOTHING like it anywhere elseâno other Mexican spot even comes remotely close in flavor, authenticity, or sheer deliciousness.
Letâs start with the foodâOH. MY. GOD. Every single dish is crafted with love, precision, and absolute perfection. Their BBQ chicken and steak quesadillas? Life-changing. The meat is always juicy, tender, and packed with smoky, savory flavor, melted together with gooey cheese in a crispy, golden tortilla. And donât even get me started on their small wrapâspecifically the Chicken Cajun Blue Cheese. This thing is OTHERWORLDLY. The tender, spiced chicken, the creamy, tangy blue cheese, the perfect crunch of fresh veggiesâitâs a flavor explosion you wonât find anywhere else.
And the Tres Leches cake? Forget about it. This isnât just dessertâitâs a religious experience. Light, moist, soaked in sweet milky perfection, and topped with just the right amount of whipped cream. Iâd fly back just for a slice.
Beyond the food, Tres Amigos is immaculateâspotlessly clean, run with professionalism and heart, and filled with some of the kindest, most talented chefs youâll ever meet. They treat you like family, and you can taste the care they put into every single bite.
And hereâs the kickerâthe prices are UNREAL for what you get. The portions are huge, the quality is top-tier, and yet itâs still incredibly affordable. Most places charge double for half the flavor and half the portion size, but Tres Amigos? They keep it real.
If you havenât been here yet, what are you doing with your life? This isnât just a mealâitâs a core memory in the making. Whether youâre craving insanely good quesadillas, the legendary small wrap, or the heavenly Tres Leches cake, Tres Amigos delivers every single time.
Do yourself and your taste buds the biggest favor of your lifeâGO. NOW. Youâll thank me later. Tres Amigos, I miss you every dayâyou are truly one of a...
Read moreI have been going to 3 amigos for over 10 years or since it first open, to both locations in Greenlawn or East Northport. We loved it in past but probably stopped going for a couple of years. Food quality is still excellent but they have significantly reduced portions. Nachos used to be in a pizza box, now a tin. They used to be very generous with salsa and one location had salsa bar. Now they charge you for salsa. So had over a $100 order and they charged for salsa. Today at Greenlawn $53 order again charged for me $1.09 for 4 âextraâ salsas despite my complaint. They barely fill salsa 1/4 way and for large nacho is not enough. Plus they cut back on guac. To make it worse, check out lady was very sarcastic and nasty about it. I get inflation, but prices are more, portion less and now with check out lady sarcasm. Tons of great Mexican take outs in area. Shame they I will be...
Read moreThey made an error on our order. They have Nachos El Supremo and Supreme Nachos on the menu. We wanted Nachos El Supremo. My wife said "Nachos Supreme" when she ordered and not El Supremo and they gave us the Supreme Nachos. No biggie right. When we told the guy there was a mistake his attitude was that's not my fault. Which it is his fault because you have two very similar sounding items on the menu and my wife said Nachos Supreme which is not on the menu at all, so he should have clarified. Regardless, typically when something like this happens the restaurant just fixes it no questions asked. He wanted another $10 to fix it. Very disappointing it's just nachos bruh, not a lobster tail. I'm sure your still making money on the transaction you greedy flake.
Secondly, the food was not as good as it used to be. I didn't recognize the staff. I wonder if...
