Cranberry's At Tilley Hall — Restaurant in Town of Hyde Park

If you are ever in the Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, Hyde Park, Rhinebeck area, you MUST eat here!! Example: if you like iced coffee.... be very excited that they pour it over cubes made of frozen coffee. If you order tea, you get an entire pot of tea in a lovely piece of china. Sadly, at this writing, they are only open Friday evenings and until 3pm Sunday. The decor is delightful, the food is delicious, the service is great (Dorina is adorable and the chef's wife is so much fun to talk to) and the vibe is so welcoming and homey. The owner is the chef and they do off-premise catering. What really excites me (and one of the many reasons I'll be coming back) is that they do a 3 course afternoon tea the 3rd Sunday of every month, but even more often between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This place used to be the best place to grab breakfast in the morning. Sit down and have some coffee in the mornings. My family used to look forward to it. Now its a glorified catering place that only opens for "special brunch" on Sunday ONLY. When we asked about their rumor to open back full time they told us March 2025. We were lied to. I had heard about Cranberry's and how good it was. I went try to it out myself. It is a cute cafe with a tea themed atmosphere. With lining table clothes and traditional tea cups. They have a variety of sandwich, pastry, coffee and tea. There seem to be a lot of locals that frequent as everyone seems to know one another.
