Was really excited to try this new dessert spot out but it didn't hold up to the pretty pictures.
We tried a few things for the sake of variety. I will go from the worst to the best.
The worst was the smoothie. It was just barely strawberry flavored and had the consistency of water. Totally gross and a poor use of $7.

Next up a slice of tiramisu. $6/$7. It wasn't actually bad just kind of stale and bland.
On the good side of things was the Chai ! It was served ridiculously hot, like we couldn't drink it for 10-15 minutes.
Last up was one of their crepes. We tried the coco pebble one and while I didn't love the bananas overall it was pretty good! Plus at $14 for this one plus ice cream vs $22 at white rabbit it was even better!
So yeah skip the smoothies and premade stuff and this place has some...
Read moreCrepes-N-Shakes is hands down one of the best hidden gems in the Rochester area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting vibe and the smell of fresh crepes and sweet desserts instantly pulls you in.
I ordered the croissant (beef) bacon egg and cheese , and it was perfect. The crepes are soft, buttery, and filled to perfection, and the milkshakes are rich, creamy, and honestly Instagram-worthy. You can tell they take pride in presentation and flavor.
What really stood out to me was the creativity in their menu and how fresh everything tasted. Whether you have a sweet tooth or you're just looking for a chill spot to treat yourself, this place delivers. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations too, which made the experience even better.
If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. Whether it’s for a late-night dessert run or a weekend treat with friends, Crepes-N-Shakes is officially in my top spots....

I like their crepe batter better than (the competing place in Webster) for desert crepes. It's a simple crepe. Way more affordable. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. It's not too sweet and it lets the toppings do the talking.
They have a lot of options that I believe the influencer types and the tiktokkers would enjoy. Lots of picture worthy meals and good presentation. They have simple, fruit options too. I tend to like simple, fruit crepes. The one I got was great. I hope they add more fruits. Maybe kiwis or blueberries.
They're open till 10pm which makes them a good after-work dessert run.
They use the same bacon that they use at Halal N Out. A huge perk for us was the Halal bacon. Me and my spouse can't eat pork bacon and all of their bacon is beef. I got their croissant sandwich. It is MUCH bigger than it looks in the doordash pics. The bacon was the star of the sandwich. It...
