We had eaten at the other Mongolian place in the Rochester area and it was odd, but ok this one is exactly the same, but with worse people. At least they have an unlimited option instead of just by the pound like the other place. My partner and I came in i got the all you can eat. He wanted some of the Nashville chicken. Only people there, she wouldn't look at you when you spoke to her at all. My partner went to get a refill and dounts, bought the donuts and made him walk around to get a refill, if you've ever been here you know how petty that is. The fountain machine is on the other side of the wall with a walk through from the front. No reason to be so obtuse. The food was good the buffet items full and relatively fresh, except the broccoli, they have tip jars all around the restaurant, but when we left, we cleaned up all our trash, threw it away, stacked my plates on the table and got up to leave, she scoffed at us and told we need to put our plates in the bucket 🤣 theres no service here, that my dear lady is apparent, however being that I have not been here before and there are no signs, check the tude, she was just incredibly rude for no reason. 3 weird restaurants in one and completely empty, if you didn't want to be open then close. Dont chase...
Read moreTerrible experience. My grandmother wanted to come to this place after seeing a commercial on TV. There was debris and trash right outside the restaurant. Construction items were strewn about on the pathway in side. If you’re in a wheelchair and needed to use the ramp it was blocked. When entered we were not greeted. Not a hello or welcome to Mongolian BBQ, she did not ask if it was our first time nothing. We were the only customers. She had a lg yellow star right in the middle of her forehead. Unprofessional and it’s all I could look at. I asked how everything worked and she explained: you get a bowl and fill it with the items you want cooked on the grill. For the sauce you pick a colored chip the color indicates the sauce flavor. Weird. I filled my bowl and got to the shrimp and THERE WAS A DEAD FLY nestled in. DISGUSTING. I let the “host” know and she got new shrimp. They also were doing construction inside!!! Who wants to eat with hammering and drilling right next to you?! Smh unbelievable. I had video but you can only post photos here. My grandmother enjoyed her food. I will never go back. Get it together Sun’s...
Read moreI love Mongolian bbq. My husband and I were so excited that we found a place here. We're originally from the west coast where there are a ton of these. So we already know how it works. You fill your bowl with whatever you want. The meats are frozen just FYI (and it's meant to be that way). Then you select the sauces you'd like the food to be cooked in. I usually put all sauces except for the gluten free one, and I add hot oil for some spice. Keep in mind the hot oil is SPICY, so be sure to not ask for a lot if you can't handle spice. It really does enhance the flavor though! Then they cook it right in front of you. We think the price is VERY reasonable and it's based on it's weight so just keep that in mind- the more you add the more it will be. We've finally hit 2 lbs and we've gotten like 3 meals worth from it. The people have always been friendly when we come and are...
