Brazas Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Town of Islip

We live around the corner and finally decided to visit. We went Wednesday night around 9:30pm, the kitchen was closing because the place was dying down. How ever the owner allowed the people in the kitchen to make me a mixed ceviche, which by the way was very fresh and delicious (and I know my ceviches) the only reason We don’t give five stars is because the drinks were disgusting I had a margarita and it was very sweet and sour, and my husband had the Mueler with Don Julio which was wack (as he stated). It’s a pity that this establishment is even considered a “restaurant”. The service upon walking in was at a 2 the most. We were a group of 4, patiently waiting to be greeted & seated .. only took them about 20 mins to notice us. You can imagine our shock. The food was also not up to todays standards. Second time here and it was amazing again! First time it was for my birthday and Today I took my father out for his. The waitresses are so kind and I wish I asked for the name of the girl who attended us today because she is so nice and funny. The price can be a bit pricey but the food and drinks are soooo worth it! The best salvadorian spot in my opinion!! My plate reminded me of the one I had last year at Lago de Coatepeque, ES!
