I enjoy the tasty food at this location, however, the attitude of some of the staff could stand improvement.
There's an app that BWW has called "Blazin' Rewards" which allows you to enter your receipt information. You get points for each purchase that can then be used towards free items at future visits. You enter the information either by scanning the receipt with your smart phone, or by having your server enter it for you. You can also enter the information manually.
While I do visit this location, most times I order through Uber Eats or a similar service. The receipt you get stapled to the bag once the order is delivered is not scan-able, though it does feature an order number you can use. One of the points of information required when entering manually is the four digit store number, which is not on the receipt that you get on a delivery order, just on the in-store one.
I called the day after my order to get the store number and the server/hostess who answered the phone didn't know what it was. She very politely went to ask a manager (which is what you're supposed to do when you don't know the answer to a customer's question). The manager told her to tell me "you don't need the number," so I asked to speak to the manager.
She gets on the phone and rudely tells me it's not something I need. I explain that I do need it to manually enter the receipt in the app in order to get the points and she then says "you don't get points for food that's delivered." NONSENSE, since I did this before with a prior purchase and the points were entered. So I politely asked again if I could have the store number, and she finally gave it to me then rudely hung up.
I now had all the info I needed, entered it, and of course got the points as I knew I would. Then, I wrote down the store number (0548 for those who might need it in the future for a similar use) in a safe place so I never have to call again and ask for it (my bad for not writing it down the first time I had called to ask for it).
I'm in the restaurant business. I know these jobs aren't easy, especially working at these corporate franchise types of places. BUT, you need to know how your apps work and not rudely argue with customers who are in the right. The first time I ever called for the number the server who answered didn't know it and the manager got on the phone and politely gave it to me with a "thanks for your order, no problem". Obviously he knew what he was doing and that the points can be entered. The other thing is you could tell he was middle-aged. This other manager; young kid. They think they know everything. ...
Read moreCome in after having a horrible experience at Applebees across the street, just to have the same experience here. LACK OF SERVICE/CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were there to celebrate my Mom's birthday, and stand there while no one seated us. I finally ask someone if we're to seat ourselves? And the Hostess replies rudely and like I was stupid- "No!". So she finally seats us, and had a little one with us. The hostess does not give us crayons/coloring paper, nor does she ask if we'd like to use a tablet to play games as we wait. The hostess also doesn't explain that the children's menu is on the back of the regular menu. As we're looking over the menu and waiting to have our drink order taken, I look for a children's menu. I go back up to the Hostess stand where I wait and stand there, just to have the hostess ignore me and help the next patrons coming in. I grab what I thought was a children's menu and crayons and sit back down. As I'm talking to my Mom about me having to get the crayons and menu myself, another waitress/hostess hears me. When I realized the paper I grabbed is not the children's menu, the waitress/hostess rudely says from three tables down- "it's on the back of the menu!" I told her that would've been nice to know initially, after going up to the Hostess stand TWICE, just to be ignored. (I had to grab tablets myself as well) after 15 minutes, we finally get our drink order taken, and another 20 minutes to get our drinks and food order taken. Food comes out another 20 minutes later with no ranch dressing and lemons for waters we requested, which takes another 10 minutes. Our waitress came to check on is not once, while the table behind us seemed to be friends with one of the employees, who was at their table AT LEAST 6 times, standing there talking to them for a minimum of 10 minutes each time. Since it was my Mom's birthday, we decide to order a dessert. (Another 10 minutes) when our dessert cones to us, it comes with a nice long hair that wasn't any of ours. At this point we're fed up and want to leave. We ask for a new dessert to go, and took it and left. The waitress asked if we would like to talk to a Manager, and I say yes. Well the manager never came. No discount offered, no apology. We will NEVER be back at that location again....
Read moreTo whom it may concern, Really wasn’t happy at all my friend and I walked in after doing a little shopping to get a beer and something quick to eat first thing was nobody was there to seat us but employees were at the bar so we sat ourselves at one of the tables because the bar was dirty. The Lady that came over from the bar didn’t introduce herself or anything just ask what can I get you? We told her and she recommended that we sit at the bar I said ok but can you clean the area first she something that she had along day but she’ll get it done. After she got the beers we were looking at the menu and were ready to order but that took a little while because she was closing someone out and eating at the same time witch was a little gross touching money and the register and eating at the register then severing me my order just Nasty! And the food was cold the icing on the cake was I don’t know if he was the manager but showed no concern about what she was doing or was going on he was checking bottles behind the bar or whatever just seemed like nobody cared I know it was after 9 and people wanna go home but should be handled better.
