If you're planning on ordering food from here, you're 100% better off going next door to Tropical Market II. I ordered the personal platter #2 and it was basically inedible. This review is based on one item called Chimichurri (Beef or chicken sandwich), an iconic sandwich from DR. I gave it one star on food because a portuguese roll is not the bread used; it didn't come with coleslaw; chicken must be fried breaded. Unbelievable that we paid $8 for a normal, standard breakfast sandwich on a roll. El Bodegon sell their sandwiches for $4.50. I truly need to know what's different between their sandwiches and a sandwich from any other deli?! $8, for a subpar, mediocre sandwich is unreal. I got robbed in broad daylight.
