Wing Wah Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Everything here is good without a doubt. However they lost me as a customer. I called to place an order for ribs and rice, I requested BBQ sauce for the rib tips , was told that it is an extra cost. Why are you charging me for sauce for food I am purchasing at your establishment? Makes no sense. She said because it comes with no sauce. I stated I would call back but changed my mind once I realized all the times I must of been charged by requesting BBQ sauce. If the order is changing in any way where the entree is not an entree that normally would have BBQ sauce I get it , if I’m substituting I get it , but if I’m buying ( RIBS) and just want some sauce 😐 I don’t get it. Avoid! I'm heart broken to write this review, but I'm really concerned. My office ordered from them at least once a week for the last 4 months. Food was good as greasy spoon Chinese places go,delivery was generally quick as well. But after yesterday i think we're done with them. We ordered our lunch, it came as usual. We have some work being done on our building and we have a dumpster outside that someone decided to dump a bunch of heads of lettuce in. The delivery guy came back and took a bunch of them and threw them in his car. I'm more than a little concerned about this. Been looking for a good chinese restaurant that delivers since we moved to the area a few months ago.... this is the fourth one we've tried, and the first one that is actually decent! Will definitely be ordering from them again. SO happy to have finally found a good go-to chinese place here!!!!

**Note, my "decor" rating is really inaccurate since I've never been to the restaurant, i only ordered delivery from them once. Since our first time ordering, we've continue to consistently order from them over the past 6 months. Always good food. Very happy to have found a solid chinese food restaurant locally...
