Chubby Deli — Restaurant in Town of Islip

i could put 0 stars if i could. i ordered an acai bowl with my friend, which if you haven’t had an acai bowl before you know they have the consistency of a smoothie. that’s is NOT what i got here. i got ICE CREAM ( as per the photo ) with only 5 sliced of banana for 10$. i called and spoke with a manager i’m assuming about my issue and he told me to let it sit for about 30-40 minutes. why do i have to wait 30-40 minutes to wait for my açaí bowl to defrost ? what’s going to happen to my fruit? my bananas are going to go brown. i’ve never seen something like this before. NEVER again. i have now a ten my fruit before the acai & now will have to wait to my ice cream to defrost....

OK food horrible service. The nasty women that works the cash register acts like she owns the place. I stood there waiting for 5 minutes while she bullshited with other employees, i walked out ( only person in the place and she watched me walk in). I use to go there all the time but switched to Dunton deli where the service is A+++. I would never go there again only because of the rudeness and nasty attitude of that individual. She's about 40-50 of age and a little chubby. I hope she gets fired. BTW my whole office wpould order out everyday with chubbys but I canceled because we're sick of dealing with someone that isn't nice....

I absolutely love their food. I come here often for breakfast & lunch. I personally enjoy their omelette platters, they give plenty of eggs and the home fries are amazing from here. I’ve had other deli platters and they honestly don’t compare. For lunch I love their mac & cheese with chicken cutlet and mashed potatoes!! The Mac is amazing. I’ve had most of their lunch selections and they’re all really good so it’s a hard pick to make. Also, they have pink coffee lids which I find to be so cute!
