The Christmas Club Pop Up — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I want to preface that this is the third time I went to an event here that I believe is hosted by the same promoter. Had this time been my first time, I would not have returned. It was freezing but the server told us it was better today than before. The vents were blowing cool air, it was 19 degrees out today. The entertainment lasted less than 10 mins, and was terrible. We were told to order appetizers and entre together since it's timed seating. It started at 4pm, we have to leave by 5:45 for the 6 o'clock show. Our food didn't get to our table until after 5, my dad's came out last at 5:20. The food was terrible and certainly not worth the price. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box, the penne a la vodka had fussili pasta not penne. They had penne because another dish came with it. There was one waitress and one server for 13 tables! The server who brought the food out basically dropped appetizer plates and appetizers on the table and left.

I will be unsubscribing to these events, it cost us ~$600 between tickets and dinner for 8. We could have gone to the city, and had a much better time and better food. DON'T...
