Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Islip

The only reason to use this location is if you’re looking for drive thru, but expect for them to get the order wrong in at least one way. I kept going back for the convinence and the mistakes are small but I am left annoyed every time, this may have been the last time. I am not one to leave reviews anywhere but after receiving the wrong thing every single time I don’t see the point in wasting money here, especially when there are locations less than a mile from this one that have better service and actually get your order correct.

Let’s see, today i ordered a large, was asked at the window to confirm it was a large, and received a medium, small mistake and I may have went back around had it not already been a long wait to receive the wrong thing.

The time before that I ordered a muffin with my coffee, they didn’t charge me for the muffin so I just left, since the woman was rude anyways.

The time before that I ordered a large hot latte and medium iced macchiato and received a medium latte and large macchiato.

Before that ordered a large and got a medium.

Before that ordered a pumpkin latte and caramel macchiato and got a pumpkin macchiato and caramel latte.

I feel like I could keep going. Again, they’re all small mistakes but when this is every single time I go it’s hard to want to go back. I’ve just dealt with it, since my Dunkin’ of choice is the one on the corner of 111 and 347, but I shouldn’t have to deal or expect my order to not be what i wanted every time! Changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. I'm not sure what changed, but the staff are extremely friendly, hardly ever mess up my order and the speed of service (inside and at the drive thru) has increased tremendously.

Highly recommended! I use the Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru once or twice a week depending on traffic.

While the service inside is fine, the drive-thru could use some work. After putting my order through at the drive-thru speaker, I'm usually asked to repeat my order at least once (usually twice) at the window. I've yet to visit this location without having to repeat my order in the (approximately) two dozen visits I've made - "One coffee with milk, no sugar please."

If it helps, the food quality has always been on par with other Dunkin' locations.

I'd highly suggest the Dunkin' by exit 55 over this location. There's no drive-thru at the other location, unfortunately, but the service at that location has always been quick, friendly...

Just left I asked for a small caramel coffee light n sweet with cream and a coffee roll, as I was about to pay I noticed I left my wallet in the car and ran to get it, when I came back the worker a female who seemed to be of Indian descent or probably middle eastern had the coffee ready but she made it iced, when I told her it was a hot coffee I wanted she said you said iced, which I didnt so then she had the nerve to give me a plain cup of coffee hot in addition to the iced one and when I told her I dont eat plain coffee she said well I gave you 2 coffee and I only charged you 1.
