L.I. Sprinter Guy Inc — Attraction in Town of Islip

We headed to Mexico May 1 for our long-awaited, 2x cancelled family trip. Six of us were taking the same flight and needed transportation to JFK from Manorville. After receiving a couple of somewhat high quotes, a pretty low quote but further research steered me away from that company and a response that seemed like they had better things to do than answer my inquiry, I found LI Sprinter Guy.

Wyder responded quickly, you can sense his friendly demeanor through the internet and his quote was fair. All good vibes so we booked him immediately for both our departure and return trips.

Our pick-up was for 5:00 am and Wyder was right on time – even shared his Waze map with me so I could track his arrival. He greeted everyone as he loaded our luggage, was friendly and professional and Queen was cranking from the sound system; a great start to our trip and a good morning wake up! His playlist the entire ride was awesome by the way. Got to JFK entertained and without issue. Easy ride.

We had a little COVID complication getting out of Mexico – I had to stay behind with two of our family members who tested + and couldn’t leave. Communication with Wyder was great - gave him another contact for the group’s arrival on the original day and set up another pick-up for the day the three of us would be leaving. So happy he was available and I didn’t have to go searching for another way home – the peace of mind after scrambling to make a million different changes was welcomed. Pick-up for both the original day/group and for us ‘left-behinds’ was seamless, on time and without issue.

Oh, and a note if you’re anxious about being a passenger (as I am at times and my daughter is always). Previous transports I’ve been in, it seems like some of them are trying for a PR. The speeding on and off, dodging in and out of traffic, riding up on top of cars – I would get out of the car feeling lucky to be alive. We had wide-open roads early in the morning to JFK; Wyder drove at a normal speed (instead of 90 mph like most LI drivers do when there is any space in front of them) and we arrived with plenty of time to spare and not a frazzled mess. I don’t know what the original group’s traffic was like on the way home, but we landed at rush hour on a Thursday, so roads were pretty backed up for much of our ride home. Again, Wyder wasn’t zipping in and out of traffic or driving up the butt of the car in front of him acting like he’s going to get us anywhere any faster. He calmly drove at the speed the traffic allowed and we got home in less time than I thought it would take us without needing a Xanax.

Wyder’s personality coupled with his reliable service and competitive pricing makes using him for any transportation needs an easy decision. We’ve already given his card to several of our neighbors and we feel like we have ‘our driver’ for all future...

From the moment I first emailed Wyder at LI Sprinter Guy back in February asking about transportation for my October wedding, I knew I was working with a professional. Wyder answered all of my [MANY] emails in a timely and courteous manner. He was so patient with me as I had SO many questions. Booking transportation was probably the most challenging vendor to book for my wedding. I had a low budget and didn't know how many people would need rides or not, but Wyder answered every question and offered me a lot of options. I ended up using this service to get my bridesmaids, both moms and myself from the hotel we were getting ready at to the wedding venue. Wyder is full of friendly, upbeat energy, the van was nice and clean, and we arrived safely and on time! I highly recommend this company for any group...

We used this transportation for my daughters wedding to and from 5/30. The driver was very professional. My daughter mistakenly left her gift box (containing her wedding monetary gifts) on the sprinter and it was never returned. The company was not helpful only saying the driver is an experienced driver. There is footage of us getting on the sprinter with the box (venue camera) and leaving the sprinter at the last stop (house camara) no one had the box (it was a weighted object looked like a glasshouse). We did not blame the driver it could have been whoever cleans their vehicles. It was very upsetting as my daughter had her monetary gifts taken from her along with keepsake of the cards wishing her and her new hubby...
