My company ordered a 30 piece value pack for employee appreciation gifts. The 30 pieces were to be 5 each of 1. a notebook (very small and cheap), 2. a tote, 3. a soft sided cooler, 4. two different hot/cold drink tumblers and 5. a lantern. The box arrived quickly but with no lanterns. They had been replaced with another type of travel cup. I felt like two types of cups were enough and really wanted the lanterns as we have some men on staff who would probably appreciate them as an option. I called the company as was told that the lanterns were out of stock. Ok, but I wasn't told that and I don't want 3 types of cups so I asked for a return shipping label to send the cups that I didn't want back and the rep said we could pick something else in the same price point. Great! Thank you! I gave him my email address. Days later, still no label. So I call again. This rep says I need to send a picture of the product I don't want to an email address and that employee would then send the label. Ok, no problem. What's the email address? I sent the picture along with an explanation of why I was sending the picture. More days pass. Nothing. So I call...again. This time I sit on hold for over 5 minutes only to have someone disconnect the call. So I call, now the 4th call I've made. I immediately ask for a supervisor because, at this point, I'm done explaining myself over and over for no resolution. I need someone who can take care of this. So I sit hold for 15 minutes only to be told that the supervisor is on another call and will call me back very shortly. That was over 7 hours ago. Still no call back. If you don't mind getting stuck with products you didn't order and don't want, this is the company for you. If you expect to receive what you order, or have the expectation to be able to return erroneous shipments, go somewhere else because Positive Promotions is not capable of communicating or resolving issues when they arise. Very dissatisfied. UPDATE: I just called for the 5th time and was disconnected AGAIN! Called back, sat on hold for over 15 minutes, only to be told that the items I received were what I was supposed to get. WRONG! The rep put me on hold, again, and 'checked the warehouse' to see if the lanterns were available. According to him, they are not. However, I can see at least 8 different lanterns on their website RIGHT THIS MINUTE that they claim to have available. So, either the rep is lying to me or the website is lying to all of us. You decide for yourself but I would sincerely advise you to find what you're looking for somewhere else. This company has horrible customer service and they are either liars or incompetent. Read moreI selected this vendor to create a customized apparel piece for our staff of approximately 40 people. I chose them as they offered the piece of outwear we wanted, at the appropriate cost per piece. This was November 8, 2021. After approving a proof the order was placed 11/12. I was told a few of the sizes were backordered but they did not communicate any updates. on 12/2 I asked for an update and was told it was due to 'ship on or before 12/15. Looking back that means it was due to SHIP FROM THE MANUFACTURER? These were meant to be given at the holidays. On 12/17 I was told the backordered items would be in 1/11. On 1/10 I was told that they'd go to the production floor as soon as they arrived and it should just be 'a few more days'. 1/19- no update so asked and they said they'd get it in 1/21. No update asked 1/26 and they said they needed to 'verify' what the timing was. No updates, asked 2/4 and they said it should be there 'today'. I requested the order be expedited on 2/6 and said if we don't have by 2/22 we would dispute the charge. They replied they'd check on it and once verified they'd move it to imprinting ASAP. They acknowledged our frustration and said it was due to supply chain issues, etc. On 2/8 they said some of the items had made to them (but not all). After no update on 2/14 I had to request an update. On 2/14 they said they'd ship them to us 2/28 and THEN said it wouldn't ship til 3/4. I called and asked what was going on and they said they were waiting on some missing items before starting the customization. I would have rather had MOST in hand than none and told them as such. Finally they shipped them GROUND on 2/28 and it arrived today 3/4 and the sizing on the customization/logo was about 50% larger than the proof and NOT what we were expecting at all. All of the updates I sought out were me proactively asking, they never once called me to explain that they were holding things, etc. I 100% understand delays from manufacturers due to pandemic staffing shortages, supply chain issues, etc. Their sales team's response to the logo sizing was "I'm no artist".... and they agreed to take it to their resolution team. we shall see what...
Read moreBuyers be WARE! I created an order a few weeks prior to my event. I received part of my order, but was missing items. I called and spoke to a customer service representative who assured me my order would be sent out by the 21st. Upon receiving my second shipment, I opened the box only to discover the wrong item had been sent. When I called, I spoke to a very rude representative who spoke down to me and tried to make me feel as though I was wrong for wanting the exact item I ordered. He also informed me, they would be replacing my order,, but I would be responsible for printing out a shipping label and sending back the incorrect items. I told him i was dissatisfied, and would not be paying extra for anything. I asked how he could compensate me for my inconvenience, could he expedite shipping? As I had paid extra for express shipping. He placed me on hold so I could speak to a manager. After a few moments he came back on the li e and told me he could offer me the matching lunch tote to go with the other items I had purchased for 50% off, but I would be responsible for paying the cost of shipping. At that point I expressed my dissatisfaction and he asked if I would like to speak with his manager. I told him I would like to speak to the manager, something I had asked to do twice before. Once the manager finally got on the phone he told me he could do nothing more to compensate me for my inconvenience. While the manager was slightly less disrespectful & rude the the customer service representative. I can tell you, I will never order from these people again. I ordered items for my staff to show how much they are appreciated. Now I have nothing to offer my staff and am at the mercy of when they decide to send me the items I purchased. I feel they should have communicated to me, or offered to refund my money if they were out of stock prior to sending incorrect items. If they had, I could have ordered from somewhere else and my staff would have received their gifts in a timely manner. I am so very dissatisfied and disappointed. Shame on them for how they treat...
