La Roca Deli — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I bought food acouples of times ,the first salad I bought was great pack to the top .The second salad I bought the barley gave me any salad at all I was shock when I open the foam plate .Than my husband bought me a large chicken soup I wasn't feeling good ,when I opened the lid their was a fly on top of the soup, my husband bought the soup back and the owner said we don't have Flys here, but the kitchen back door is open my husband told the owner, the owner said the fly was probably where u live ,my husband knows the owner of Roca deli, my husband told the owner u know the fly came from your kitchen. It least be honest, but like I said the first salad was made by the owner cause my husband told the owner and it was delicious pack with salad. Maybe in the summer they should just keep the kitchen door close, or before they put the lid on the food double check it to make sure no fly jump ...

Three times in the mid-morning, I asked for chicken empanadas, and  the lady behind the counter said "no" only beef. Today, I went in and asked for chicken. Apparently, they didn't have chicken empanadas. Two hours after I left, my husband decided to get some food for himself. In response, the lady said yes, we have a lot. That's just B.S. My first visit. I was invited by someone who was already there once before and they said it was pretty good. I ordered barbecue boneless wings, a barbecue pizza slice, and garlic knots.
