Sunrise Bagel — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Bagels are ok, problem is that I ordered one egg bagel (nothing on it) and one egg bagel with butter and one slice of cheese. They charged me a total of $7.99, there is no way that's correct. So that's about $6.25 for a bagel with butter and one slice of cheese. You ripped me off. When I questioned the woman helping me, she was not very nice about it. If she cant appreciate customer feedback, then too bad. Then whispering to her colleague was very unprofessional. Really don't care if you are a doctor, nurse or store associate respect your customers. She stated that bagel boss charges the same, that's not the point, nor do I believe that and there's only one way to find out, right up the road. A bagel can't cost more than 20 to 25 cents each to make, then I get labor charges ok. I have been to several bagel places in the recent past, I have ordered a bagel with butter and 3 slices of cheese where they charged $4.50. Sunrise is obviously charging $1.50 to $2.00 for a slice of cheese. They are totally ripping people off. I get that their overhead has gone up, but let's be fair. Totally disgusting, shame on the owner...

I will start by saying the food is delicious. I won't take that away from them but they have charged me double the price multiple times and when bringing it up to the long black hair lady she became super agitated and responded extremely rude telling me how I'm wrong just to be shown she was in the wrong and then did NOTHING AT ALL. From some reviews I've seen I'm not the first. Today I received a message from my bank telling me sunrise bagels added $15 to my total a few hours later for a "TIP" that i never agreed to or was even told about. Extremely rude and unprofessional. If your going to still eat here be sure to only deal with the older gentleman. He is a great person. Every body else seams like they hate being they're and could careless about ripping you off over and over. Hopefully I will receive my money back tomorrow but they're never at fault in there...

Staff is very unwelcoming & Unsanitary breakfast . There was Hair in my breakfast sandwich, Employee that was both cooking and cashier was very rude when I came back to inform her that her blonde hair was in my sandwich she made me. After analyzing my sandwich multiple times to ensure that there was a strand of long blonde hair in my food . She told me the best she can do is remake half of the sandwich . With out washing her hands or putting on gloves she proceeded to remake half of the sandwich , as I’m watching her remake my sandwich she begins to put her bare finger in my eggs yolk while cooking.
