K&K BEAUTY NAIL SPA INC — Local services in Town of Islip

I have been going there since last year. In the beginning I wanted a certain shape, the younger guy couldn’t do. I gave them another chance, the next time did my nail it’s the older guy it was okay, he listened to what I want the second time. I went yesterday for an acrylic fill in because my nail in my ring finger was crack in the middle. It was fill in which was supposed to be only $45, but they charged me $65 and I gave her a tip, $15. I didn’t realize she charge me $20 dollars more already and I gave her $15 dollars tip on top of that! I wish they would tell you first what they’re gonna charge you for certain stuff you want done, you know not only you find out at the end! I think she charge me up for another $20 because she did the silver line around my nails which she already complained it was messy. She should’ve told me that she’s going to charge me $20 for it. So I could decide then, if that’s how much she’s charging for silly little thing even I could do. So probably gonna find myself another nail salon. I’m literally crying in my car.

I had booked a 2pm appointment for me and my daughter to have a mommy daughter day.

We have both been here before for the past year and a half.

NEVER AGAIN

They took me and daughter to start our pedicures at 2pm. And they started working on me.

Time goes by, my daughter starts crying that she wasn’t be worked on, 2:20 at this point.

And by 2:40, she knocks out in the chair

Even the lady next to us said she saw it coming because she saw that my daughter was bored.

They looked at her and it was obvious they forgot about her….40 MINUTES AFTER OUR APPOINTMENT.

They finished my pedicure, continued to finish taking off my dip nails (which I wouldn’t of done if I knew I was going to leave early because of this)

I was basically crying in there

I told them not to finish my hands and paid my bill.

My daughter was so upset

DAY RUINED AND WASTE OF TIME

Now I have to find a place to do her nails and finish my nails.

They didn’t care or say sorry or showed any remorse.

They don’t care about you, even if you’ve been going here for 2 years.

I hope another nail salon can bring a smile to my daughters face after this one mad...

Wow. This place is incredible. I went there the day before thanksgiving and they did a wonderful job- took their time and didn’t rush me. However, I later realized my nails were not as filed as I like them to be and one chipped (I got dip powder on my natural nail with a gel polish design. So I called and asked how much it would be to fix them.. the girl told me to come on in and proceeded to completely redo my nails, free of charge. I offered to pay like three times but she said nope! They are so kind and actually care about the quality of their work. I will be back and I recommended everyone who’s tired of the constant disappointment of the other salons in the area, immediately start going to K&K.
