Tacos Guacamole — Restaurant in Town of Islip

OMG !! If you haven't been to Taco Guacamole you don't know what you're missing , not only we're the margaritas delicious the food was outstanding, myself I ordered the steak burrito, this was no taco bell burrito the burrito was stuffed with fresh meat they definitely don't short you on ingredients it was cooked fresh to order so we didn't mind the lil extra time for the order to come out it was amazing, my girlfriend ordered a grilled shrimp platter the shrimp was fresh and delicious as well . The front end help was fantastic, we asked way to many questions and she was very patient and polite answering all our questions . We met the owner while there i believe her name was Jasmine. We stayed after we were finished and had a couple of drinks at their bar. We will definitely be returning. And if you like karaoke the do that on certain nights , so go have some margaritas and get your singing voice ready. Thank you Jasmine and crew we are definitely...

😞 I will not be returning to this taco place very disappointing I Ordered dinner to go asked for the chicken and ingredients on the side on the chicken tacos as the tacos fall apart and get soggy They didn’t give the chicken And The guacamole was brown And the lettuce in my Shrimp burrito was brown I called to complain and the person I spoke to wouldn’t give me credit for the order was very rude and insisted that I I was making it up We have gotten food there for a long time and never had this I told them we spent 31 total on food and that they should take more care on the food I won’t be going there anymore Bad business to be rude and not take care of the customer They should have given a credit and been nice and understanding that the order wasn’t right They don’t care and that’s very sad They are supposed to be serving food that’s fresh I never usually complain but was so disappointed that this is how they are doing...

I've had many Mexican/ Tex Mexican places in my life, this by far maybe the worse one. I ordered a grilled chicken platter. It says rice beans and salad. Well, the "grilled chicken" if even grilled chicken was cut into tiny pieces, really chewy, certainly cheap and thrown on top of flavorless rice and black beans probably out of a Goya can and no tortillas. The salad was a pinch of lettuce with some chopped tomatoes on it. It was disgraceful and certainly a one time mistake. I would of probably been better going to chili's across the parking lot. Do yourself a favor, go drive to the truck on brentwood road.

EDIT: after the store decided to write back to me, I'm a local guide with over 100 reviews... barley any negative... I didn't recommend Chili's, I said I would have been better off with their slop... I do recommend the taco truck on brentwood road by the sisters St Joseph... that's proper...
