Vinardo's — Restaurant in Town of Islip

The only reason I gave Vincenzo's one star because it was impossible to give it zero stars or below zero stars. I am one of the very lucky people that has an excellent job, a home, a car and finances to eat! This morning while waiting in the parking lot for a friend and older man came to my car and asked me if I had any money. He appears not have eaten in quite a few days. . I know the deal I don't give out money due to the drugs alcohol epidemic. but What I do is buy them food. buy th. I walked into this Vincenzo's (a dump) restaurant with this hungry gentleman. After about eight minutes we're finally acknowledged. I was dressed very professionally do you have a man certainly was not. I said hi I'd like to purchase some food for this hungry man. Where I was told i was it was going to take about a half hour for the pie should be done. I said fine I'll pay for it now. So he could eat and I could wish onto my family. This Sunday morning man said " you can sit in here and wait but I do want that in here" quotation marks I consider this very disrespectful especially when he was a nice man the food was about to be by me. I asked the hungry man is this how you treated and he said yes I said how about I take you to breakfast and we restaurant! People should look beyond the boundaries of others and give it to Jerry for. With that I took food off the counter I said if he's not good enough to eat here I guess I am not either and I took the guy out to a three-course breakfast! I don't understand some people open your eyes open your heart . Not all of us so blessed and so many people have hunger issues! All I'm saying is Vincenzo's in Brentwoodyou should be ashamed of yourself. You are nasty nasty man to that poor man that had no food that I was paying for! Yet I hope...

Normally I have no problem with them. I've placed multiple orders online through slice for my grandmother and have never had an issue. However tonight I placed an order for her and the order was confirmed as usual and said it would be there by 7:15. So about 7:45 My grandmother calls me and says the food has not arrived yet, I called the restaurants to find out what's going on and they tell me they never received my order. I told them I received the confirmation that they did receive my order but they we're adamant that they did not receive my order They said I had to call slice. So when I called slice they called the restaurant to find out what happened. Slice told me that the restaurant said they ran out of spaghetti with white clam sauce. I said okay they had my phone number why didn't they call me and also there was more to the order so you just disregard the entire order because you don't have one thing !? What kind of customer service is that!? why wasn't a phone call made to tell me something was not available? There was also other dinners ordered ! Very disappointed. They definitely...

Placed order and it was canceled wasn’t notified by the restaurant and waited and wasted my time when I could've ordered elsewhere before everything closed, was told its between me and Uber eats who confirmed the order with the restaurant. Probably got tired of waiting for a driver as I was told “the driver never showed up” then told “you placed the order after we closed” so doesn’t add up. Otherwise the order would've been canceled earlier. Guy on the phone didn’t have the nicest attitude either...
