Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I come here a number of times. Every time my order takes forever. Today is the last time i will go here. I ordered number 6, spicy chicken, large drinks, and large frosty. First, the lady gave me coke, I wanted a dr. Pepper. Then 5 minutes went by as I was standing waiting for the spicy chicken. Nothing. No one talked to me. I am standing right there. So I stood there as 10 more people came in and got their food. Even one person got a spicy chicken. LOL. Wow, where is mine? Oh yes, the last person got it. LOL. The nice girl behind the counter said a few more minutes. I said no, i just want my money back. Really, this is not good business, Wendy's. Update: It has been 4 years, so I started to order here in August. Every time at the drive-through, they forget something. Today, December 7, 2022. They they forgot the honey mustard for my chicken nuggets, napkins, and spoons for my large frosty. When I got home, you saw my frosty how they filled my cup. This is not the first time. It's my fault I did not check before I went. But why should I check? I assume as prices increased, we get less product to? Why can we get what we paid for? Consistently good, well priced items we are all familiar with. For those on a strict diet highly recommended is the side salad or the Caesar salad. Also, the Grilled Chicken Go Wrap can be made without the sauce for a high protein moderate carb meal. Update 1/16/21 Masks required to enter. Safe distancing enforced, tables separated. Safety dividers installed. Menu has been changed. Best recommendation for strict diet is Southwest grilled chicken avocado salad. Full size comes with large warm white meat chicken breast, 2 scoops of freshly made guacamole with big pieces of real avocado visible, big pieces of bacon and tomato sitting on a giant bed of romaine lettuce. I was short on time so I went to this location again as its close to my home. Thought maybe after a few years they would improve. Once again they got my simple order wrong. how hard can it be to get a burger with just 3 toppings. I'm so glad I checked the burger before eating it. I have a food allergy and if i hadn't checked I'd need my epipen. Additionally they didn't put the cover on the chili correctly so I now have to clean the floor of my car.

I prefer Wendy's to all other fast food. However this Wendy's is mostly incapable of getting orders correct. This has happened many time to me at this location. I'm not ordering anything hard but they seem not to care. If you like Wendy's pass this...
