Today is Monday September 1st 2025. I write this review with such a heavy heart and great disappointment. I have been to four brothers in valatie many times with my sons! We have always received Superior service! Our usual is we order a five topping pizza and a large ever so delicious Greek salad I'm always ranting and raving and sending people there exclamation points but after tonight the way we were treated by a waitress when we were greeted she handed me the menus and said pick a spot to sit down I have a special guest with me that I wanted her to experience the wonderful food here we did ask for for water with lemon wedges and we were going to proceed to order. This waitress complained that they were very short and people were calling in and she just didn't have a lot of time to be waiting on people! So we remained cordial and empathetic to the situation. She put our waters on the counter and my son went up to collect the waters and put them on the table just to help her out so we were getting ready to order and we asked for separate checks and the waitress came back very sharply and said we don't do separate checks! We have a sign up near the cash register! I've never heard of such a thing not being able to do separate checks. So this waitress continued with her attitude I got up and I said thank you very much and I got up and I instructed everybody in my dinner party to leave! It's really too bad, this was my favorite place I would drive over from Pittsfield Massachusetts just to get their pizza and salad. I guess I never will be returning...

We ordered Garlic Bread for an Appetizer. It says on "Menu" with " Marinara sauce", when served it did not accompany the bread. We asked the server, and the response was, I think its extra, I said no that's not what the menu states. So, about 10 minutes later the sauce came over, cold, by then the bread was as well.
I ordered a Caesar Salad and the dressing tasted spoiled(strong vinegar taste); I advised server; he said he would inform the kitchen. My appetite at that point was ruined. My husband had Rigotoni with 2 meatballs. The meatballs tasted like pressed frozen meatballs.
The salad had 3 bites taken out of it; I thought maybe my taste buds were off, nope they were not. My husband said he has never tasted anything like that.
All of this and 2 soft drinks a few cents short of $48.00. Was not worth it at all. When I went to cash out, I asked the young man if they checked if the dressing was spoiled he responded, no. I said are you sure it was the Caesar Salad Dressing? He promptly said yes. So basically I left the $13. Something dollar salad on the table it was so good right? Read moreAfter years of hearing about this place, I finally went with another Chef to give it a go. Before I get into the food I'm not rating this place on atmosphere. It's one big mess hall. Although the other side has separate entrance to a bar that looks homey and well stocked. To the food. We order a medium 8 cut with sausage, meatballs and Bermuda onions ( I'm an old school Chef). It came to the table picture perfect. It's not your typical dough for pizza. It's more of an evolution of bread dough that has been honed into a beautiful marriage. Crunchy, airy, some sweetness and a good chew. The sauce paired well with the crust and cheese. On to the sausage which was flavoful and not greasy. The meatballs were the spoon drop type, not sliced or halfed, but well seasoned. Personally I prefer sliced or half meatballs on my pizza. Overall it was above average. So, what would I change. Only one thing. MORE TOPPINGS. As I mentioned I'm a Chef so I know margins, a little more goes a long way to bring back and add to your customer base.
